I bought this about 6 months ago. For the price it is a great printer and I love the ink tank feature. I would recommend this printer to anyone who has basic/home printing needs.

I have printed tons of color pages from this first fill on my 2550. The tank is still almost full. Saving tons of $$$ on ink!

The ET-2550 was easy to set up (USB connection) and has been easy to use.
I haven't really done anything 'fancy', just b/w & color printing on plain paper, but the coverage is nice and the fineness is as good as the hi-res images are on the computer screen. The scanner function is easy to use and results in the high quality one expects these days.
Have to admit, the ginormous ink tanks are fabulous! Finally, somebody wised up. :-)

Good printer but needs improvement

I have had this for amost a year now and only had to refill the black once thus far. Unfortunetely, here are the cons, refills required when ink goes down to 50% and after a few days idle it goes offline and i have to unlug unit to restart. If you printing multiple pages, its slow. The plus is that i dont go poor buying ink.

I purchased two of these printers for our Real Estate company. While one of them functions correctly the other one has terrible print quality. I have repeatedly done the maintenance functions on the printers menu such as head cleaning and alignment. The text printing has faint lines running through the print. .
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
