An outstanding product

We have had the ecotank printer for about 6 months. This is a product that truly lives up to the hype. It is a quick printer, scanner, and copier. Set up is simple. The ink lasts an incredibly long time and refilling is simple. The quality of print is also outstanding. All in all I could not ask for a better home printer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Cheap and Does NOT auto duplex

For an item marketed as "Eco" you would think at this price point that it would auto duplex to save paper. The print quality is not good, it reminds me of an old dot matrix printer.
If you remove the cost of the 2 year ink supply the price point would still be high enough that it should have a lot more features.

Never printed properly

From the beginning this printer never printed properly with white lines through printed areas. Now it doesn't print colors correctly so everything looks awful. All updates have been done, have tried reinstalling it as well as printing from other computers both PC and Mac. Have to take it in for service after just a few months. Do not recommend.

poor print quality

We bought this due to the advertising of the large ink capacity. however the print quality is not very good. ink is light and streaky at times, don't know if this is normal or not. black is not very dark either. compared to the hp printer we had the print quality is inferior. expected better.

Awesome-great investment

I purchased this printer in the beginning of the summer. Even though I paid a slight premium I wanted to try something new after the numerous hp printers I have had kept braking down and draining my wallet due to ink costs. This printer is great since the day I got it I haven't put a single penny into it. The ink last forever its quiet and efficient. Printing photos is also easy and no worrying due to ink supply. We print a lot in our household, since I purchased this printer the ink haven't even gone down half its truely an amazing piece of technology.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Can't send scan to email

Its a little slow to print but great not to buy ink every month .. The thing I can't do is scan and e mail the scan .Also no fax Will have to change printer .
