Great on ink but lacking in other areas

I bought this roughly a year ago. It is advertised as excellent on ink and that it is. I have not replaced any ink so far and use this printer in a home office setting. However I wish I could double side print to save paper. There is also a high pitched annoying sound when it prints. It's low and tolerable but annoying.

Easy Set Up!

Ordered this as a second printer for my home computer. Just decided to set it up after my primary printer started having issues. I am a complete klutz when it comes to anything computer related. But this was the easiest set up I have ever done. The print quality is clear and sharp. I can't wait to start using all of the features.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fine until preset "needs service" makes it useless.

Be warned; the thing can be printing along just fine and then at a certain point it just stops with a "needs service" message (based? on page count?) Normal things like ink pads cannot be done by the user; taking it to a repair place costs enough that buying a new printer makes more sense- which does NOT MAKE SENSE.
I have had Epson C 88s- same sort of issues. They print very well for my use, color notecards and instructional packets. Until they won't print at all.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Ink LAST FOREVER!

I bought this over 2 years ago....I print ALOT...and im still on the same ink cartridges. Its payed for itself and has actually saved me money.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this about 1 1/2 years ago worked fine till about 3 mounts ago ND THEN IT SLOWED PRINTING DOWN TO ABOUT 3 TO 5 MIN PER PAGE
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great printer

The only flaw is the screen its so small u need a magnifying glass to see it other than that you cant go wrong with the printer its about time u dont have to buy cartridges after printing a couple photos. You cant print for days and barely puts a dent in the ink.
