I 've had the ET-2550 about a year and a half. I've had no trouble with it. I can aford to use
it because the tanks have made ink not an issue anymore. The ink is affordable.

How much do I like this printer?

Now well, let’s see, purchased the 2550 over three years ago. Liked it so much, I purchased a 2650 for my condo in Florida . Then I liked it so much, I purchased another for my personal use in my place of business in Rhode Island. It must be magic because I haven’t had to purchase ink for either one of these printers yet. Depending how often you use, you can pay for your printer within the first year of ownership simply from not having to purchase ink every time you turn around. Purchasing one of these printers should be a no brainer......

Rear paper feeder is a must

This seems to be the last of the rear paper feeders. A rear paper feeder is the only means to use multiple paper and envelope sizes and paper weights.as too light a paper, too heavy a paper, too small a paper , too long a paper will simply just jam the printer, and do multiple feeds of paper if not fed from a rear paper feeder where the paper does not have to do a bend to be used. The Eco tanks are great and hold a lot of ink. However, beware, if you do not use any one, or all of the colors very often then the ink will dry up to or in the print heads and you will have to use a lot of ink to clean the heads and get proper printing ( true of all brands.) I would have given it a 4 but the notification to check ink comes up even when most tanks are full or at least half full. Since it is not a true combo multifunction printer/scanner with a fax I cannot give it a 5 . It is a neat system but handling the refills can get messy if not super careful. The color is great but there is no scan and fax. It does have a scan and copy mode which work well, if you know what you are doing. and does a decent job with pictures.One can fax using any windows (vista, 7, 8, 8.1, 10) of any type so loss of faxing with this is not a big thing, just wish it were available. I hope Epson keeps a rear paper feeder for sale as the inks always dry up on every printer and no one repairs them. It could also be more user friendly As far as I am concerned the rear paper feeder is it's best feature Second best ;The eco tanks

Printing problems

After a year the color quality is poor. After doing software update and following cleaning procedure it still malfunctioning. I am disappointing with this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
