Ink on fingers

While filling the ink containers I got a bit of the ink on my fingers. The darn ink does not come off! I tried soap and water, alcohol, mineral spirits and finally acetone. Nothing seems to remove the ink. My recommendation is that the instructions say to wear latex gloves when installing the ink cartridges.

slow and not quality print

I have been using this printer for 6 months now. Print quality is not good compare to my other epson printers. (3620 and 7510) It never prints good if I don't select high quality. It also requires head cleaning once a week.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent Printer format

I purchased the epson ET-2550 to support my photography hobby. Photographs used a lot of ink, but more importantly, color results count. The tank system is really ingenious. I don't worry about running out of ink in the middle of a project because I can see ink use through the tank windows. Refilling the tanks is easier than installing cartridges. The resulting color, on Epson photo paper, is gorgeous. My only regret is that I cannot print large form factor on this printer. Also, my document text comes out crisp and legible. Versatility is great as scanning is readily available, as well as, copying. It even has an SD slot and wifi. So far after several months of use, I am quite happy with the Epson ET-2550 and I highly recommend it.

Black ink lasted a disappointing 250 pages.

Epson claims 4000 pages yet my first black ink bottle only lasted 250 pages. It is also impossible to read the ink tank levels on this printer. Epson needs to add a sensor to the ink tanks to let the user know when the tanks are running low. Look at the photo below ... Can you tell the level of the black ink?

Not What I Expected!

I bought this printer in July, 2016 & thought it to be what I would need (recently retired) to begin using for my volunteer work at home. About 4 months into using it the printed sheets started having lines through everything. I went online and did everything it said to do to correct the ink & line problem, never worked.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best printer I ever had!

I had this printer and used it only on my laptop as wireless and had not downloaded the soft ware until now. My desk top PC is in repair, so I had to do it now. This printer was recommended by my son. It may cost some more then other printers, but you will get your money back, because it is so ink saving. I love to print lots of photos, so the ink last me a long time and the refill is so much more reasonable to purchase. I recommend this printer to anyone. It is not that hard to use. Love the options of the menu. Cleaning printer heads, Paper edging and so on. I am using it on two different Mac's. User-friendly!

Easy Set-Up

I just purchased the Eco-Tank 2550 printer. I purchased for home use and school. I red nothing but good reviews for this one. It was a little pricey; but will pay off in the long run, with the 2-year ink that comes with it.
