Great for High Volume Printing

I bought this 2 years ago for high volume printing. It works great and is easy to use. I bought this because the Epson Workforce product I had was costing an arm and a leg in replacing ink cartridges. I am no longer using that product. This one works well and I am considering purchasing a second.

Reliable Performance, Extremely Long-Lasting Ink!

I bought this more than a year ago at this point, and I am so glad I have it. I love this printer. I use it nearly every day to print at least something, and more heavily on the weekends to print many things.
I just added some more black ink for the first time since purchase a few weeks ago, though I did have some left in the tank. I wanted to top it off. At the rate of printing we've kept, that is hugely impressive! The ink itself was incredibly cheap as well. At these prices each page must cost fractions of a cent. It's great.
I'm a teacher, and our school recently purchased the Brother (brand) equivalent of this Epson printer, and I can tell you from first hand experience that I would recommend the Epson over the Brother with no reservations. The Brother is SLOW and finicky (wi-fi), and the user interface is just not as straightforward as the Epson. Not to mention the fact that the ink capacity is much less than the Epson and the ink for the Brother comes in proprietary cartridges--which makes them cost significantly more than the bottled Epson ink.
The Epson ET-2550 is just a great printer. If I had a need for another printer, I would buy another one with no hesitation.

I have had this unit since January 2017 and am fully satisficed with the printer.. One drawback is the small screen...as for the printing, it is so economical compared to the cartridge type ink jet printers..

Ink tanks!

I like that the EcoTank has so much ink at hand when needed. The quality of print seems to be very good. On photo paper is when this printer shines. I only had one problem and that occurred when trying to update the printer firmware. My computer crashed repeatedly until I unplugged the printer and reset my computer to before it was installed. So odd. Also, the printer would freeze and not come back until manually rebooting. The way I solved this was by setting the printer to turn off after an hour. It's been fine ever since. But other than that, a good printer.

I purchased a few years ago. It was amazing AT FIRST. Then it began giving me lines on the pages I printed. I cleaned the heads, things just got worse. I tried cleaning manually, with a liquid solution. Now it won't connect to the computer I have always had used it with. It NEVER remembers my wifi, even though I have set it up multiple times. I'm sure some of this is user error... but I have never had problems with a printer like this. I LOVE the idea and price of the eco tank, but with how it clogged, and how hard it is to get it cleaned... I'm second guessing weather or not this was a smart purchase.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the ink tank feature

This is an amazing printer. I have owned it for several years and continue to get great prints and scans from it. And the ink tanks are a breeze to fill and less expensive than ink cartridges.
