Basic printer, love the ink tanks

If you are looking for a basic AIO printer with no worries about ink, this is the one for you. Set up was pretty easy, and wireless as well. This was my first wireless printer set-up and it went like a breeze. Not sure if scanning is supposed to work wirelessly (mine did not) so I ended up connecting with the USB, and scanning works well. Manual could be a little more helpful, no where did it say that scanning required us but connect or not (and yes, I did read most of it!). Print speed is a little on the slow side, but reasonable. I really miss 1) auto duplex option (you can do manual, not too hard but auto is desire able), 2) borderless printing, and 3) more paper choices. You just have white paper, matte, paper, glossy paper and envelope. It would be nicer to at least have the different Epson paper options represented. Maybe this will be addressed with firmware to pgradees? Photo printing is not the greatest, even with matte presentation paper, it is a little lacking, reds are a bit muddy. I don't do a lot of photos but this would be nice to have better quality on the ones I do print. Over all I am pleased with this printer, just surprised that it so very basic, just the minimum options are included. I love not worrying about using ink, this does free things up a bit. And refills are not too expensive. It would have been nice to have 2 sets of each of the ink refills, it would not have cost them that much and it would be a nice bonus addition.

Epson ET-2550

I just purchased my ET-2550. The set up and WiFi connections were simple and the printer paired with my desktop computer and smart phone easily. The print quality is as expected.
My system is for home use. Let me qualify the 5 star rating as I have used the printer for only 2 days. If the ink lasts as long as Epson claims, I will never purchase a printer that uses cartridges again.

Happy with speed, overall quality and overall functionality. A few issues: photo discoloured quite quickly (on Epson photo paper). Having an issue with communicating with the printer when it goes to sleep for over a day. Only way to communicate is to unplug and plug in again. I like the large ink reservoir. I should have gone with the auto sheet feeder for the scanner. Great app on iPhone. Overall pretty satisfied.

I have used this quite heavily for the short time I owned it. Over 2200 copies. The only 2 draw backs are 1. No multi page scan and 2. No auto 2 page print

I have used the Epson ET 2550 for several months now and it is great. I have used very little ink and have printed a lot of color documents. Setup was smooth and Wifi printing works great.
I can recommend this Epson model as it works just like it is designed.

Works good and is quiet. I wanted to get away from Printer ink Cartridges. The black print quality seems to be slightly less than Publishing quality, however the more expensive models may have better quality.

The new ET-2550 Eco Tank All-in One Printer is great and is worth every dollar.
It works great and does everything I expect from a good printer.
What I like most about it is that I don't have to drive 10 miles and purchase replacement cartridges every 3 month.
All my friends and business associates are planning to buy a Epson 2550 sooner then later.
Go check it out and be as happy as I am!
