The concept of the refillable tank

The concept of the refillable tank was interesting . Would of been a pgood value if it were perfected. Stopped using a couple times due to leaking, got tired of cleaning up the mess and put it away. It's to bad because I've owned alot of Epson over the years this one soured my taste for Epson

Can never locate printer

I have never been happy with this printer! When I need to print from my phone or iPad, it can never locate my printer. I’ve had people check out what could be wrong and no one can figure it out. I feel like I wasted my money!!

Hate it! Will not connect to Internet

Takes me 30 mi utes to try and get it to link up to print anything. Also the feeder always makes the paper crooked you have to manually hold the paper so it feeds in straight.

We like it when it works

We may have purchased this about a year ago. I love it then, but at least 3 times in the last month we have had to redownload stuff to get the printer to work. We may get 3 or 4 copies and then it says it is in error. Very disappointed.

PROBLEMS WITH SOFTWARE

Once you can get the printer installed on a Mac it works fine, but the installation software can never find the printer on the network. It is a pain to install. and every time I install a new computer I have to register it again - five times now. I have had to contact Epson support on several occasions to get help installing the software.
Printer is fine SOFTWARE is useless.

Lines on everything

The tanks are still full from the first fill, everything prints with white/blank lines. Tried cleaning, realigning, maintenance (wasted so much ink and paper).

Do not get this printer!

I spend hours trying to get the freaking thing to be connected! None of my computers can ever find it. It will work great for like a week and then all of a sudden my computers cannot find it .. says “it is not connected. I delete it and reinstall it and sometimes that fixes it and sometimes it won’t. It is so frustrating!

Potential of great savings

I've had my printer for almost two years. I love the fact that I don't have to change cartridges so frequently, nor is it expensive. Plus, less for the landfills.
The issue I have is with the jets clogging. I started having this problem shortly after having the machine for one year. Very distressing since repairing it to clear the jets seemed to be expensive and difficult. I have to print on HIGH quality all the time to get decent copy.
I realize the printer must be used to avoid this issue, but that's not always practical as often in my home environment, I don't need to print every day. It would be nice it the print manager had a feature to print a test page automatically on a specified periodic basis. I would print a test page every day if it were available. how hard would it be to add that?
I would recommend this to a friend!
