Great deal

Yes it seems like a lot to pay for a printer but the cost of ink alone on a printer is high and don't last long at all . This is a great idea and will pay for itself quickly I love my printer again.

Honestly I have not done a ton of printing with this machine to date so I can't give a really detailed review. I can however say that I am very happy with what I have seen so far. The print quality is fine and as good as most ink jets. The speed seems fine for my taste also. The setup was fairly easy and the wireless printing is working smoothly. Anything I have connected to my home router is able to access the printer and print, i.e. iPads and iPhones no issues. The scanner works well and the copy feature is easy to work. I like the idea of not having to worry about cartridges all the time so that's good. I assume it will save me money but it's just going to be so nice not having to worry about always having back up cartridges waiting to install. Overall I'm a fan. If it holds up and lasts which I'm assuming it will I will be a very happy camper.

I bought this printer for the ink longevity . I am sad that there are not better ways to utilize all the different tools it has. I have vested more than 4 hrs total in trying to print pics , print envelopes and print from my smartphone an email. This printer is to complicated for me. Will return it. I believe it is me, not the printer.

Experiment

I bought this as an experiment because I got tired of my previous printers breaking and me left with unused print cartridges which was wasted money.
This type of printer I still think is overpriced and I have had it only for a few months. So far everything going well but time will tell if experiment worth it. Check back in a year or two !

Difficult install process

Difficult install process. So far this printer bites. Having all kinds of problems with it. Not printing correctly. Thanks Epson for making my life more difficult and taking my money and time!

Very poor documentation

This took repeated tries to set up. I wishI would have bought something else. The steps on the screen do not match the printed material and there was no automatic detection. Really disappointing.
My first Epson product and probably my last.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
