Awesome! I have had this printer a couple of weeks and I love it! its the kind of the technology we have been waiting for! I switched over from other company just because of this function, and now that I have tested your printer I am amazed, and will be an epson printer consumer for life.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I was asked to review this product after registration... given that I just downloaded the drivers, installed via wifi and I have only printed a test page I feel pretty good about my purchase. Looking forward to the DIY style of control I get with the ink. Very cool! I can literally see the levels of ink! I don't need to have the printer tell me. I was careful to follow the instructions - except the glove recommendation. Doesn't take much of that ink to leave your fingers stained. Oops. I did put paper down and no splatters at all - was was very careful. I only got ink on my fingers when placing the little caps on the empty bottles. But to be fair it was clearly stated in the instructions to use the gloves! This style of loading ink is not recommended for the young kids... too much room for error with spilling that ink all over the place in my opinion. I would have a heart attach watching even a kid in their teens if they are not attentive to detail. anyways... for responsible adults who like the eco and $$ savings - very cool product!

I bought the Epson ET-2550 because I love my Epson 3880 for fine art photography but needed a printer for everyday use. The fact that I don't have to keep going out and buying ink cartridges was an added bonus. I am really a big fan of Epson printers and the ET-2550 has not let me down.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Impressive Printer

I was a bit apprehensive about the overall set up. There were a number of reviews out there that made it sound both difficult and time consuming. I found the set up to be fairly simple. Thankfully there was a disc included. I was warned ahead that the printer may not have a USB cord, which it didn't- but because of the alert, I bought one. The ink was simple to set up too. I was most impressed with the quality of the print- at least so far. One thing that was a bit of a bummer, was the lack of a paper drawer to hold more than a few sheets at a time. This may become a problem, but for now, I will need to make the adjustment. For the amount of money this printer cost including a three year warranty, It should have included the USB cord and hold more paper....Ahh- such is life- nothing is perfect- I am hoping this will be a good fit- the jury is still out because I have only just started this printer up today....
