Set up from start to finish was easy including wi-fi set up. And I am not a computer geek- just the opposite. Have yet to test cell and i-pad print but so far all went great,. Note- cd did not load so went to their web cite listed and bingo.

This is a question, not a review. Take down if necessary. I have an old Epson Photo RX 595. It produces good quality photos using 6 different color inks. What, how do your color photographs look like printed out? This is the question I can't find the answer to. If you know of a good review please steer me in the right direction.

Always was interested in the Eco tank printer, and finally took the jump and bought one. So far I love it. Set up (Both Wi-Fi and cable) was so simple, filling the tanks was even simpler. Since this is more for my office work, I cant comment on any photos printed (YET). Over all I'm pleased with my purchase. Go Epson!

This printer so far is working great with my computer but when i try to use my phone or tablet most of the time it does not work. Set up is not very easy either,of course that could be me. I feel set up could be made easier.

Do not buy!

This printer has been a nightmare from the start. I have used Epson printers from the very beginning. I expected quality and ended up with a flimsy, cheesy product. The print quality is thin and lacking in contrast. The worst part, however, is the frequent false error message of "paper jam" when there absolutely is no paper jam! I have lost hours to this problem. I get the printer running again and then a few attempts later--the same issue.Save your money! Be wise. The ink bottles don't make up for the lost revenue and lost time! I've had it.

Good Product for a Home User

Just finished setting up my new ET-2550. Pretty happy with the process.
This printer doesn't come with many bells and whistles. However, ask yourself this, how often do you fax or scan multiple pages. If the answer is never or rarely, this is probably the right printer for you. This printer if often described as "slow." However, this is relative. It is actually quite fast compared to the Artisan 837 is just replaced. Also, I like the old school paper feed down and in from the back as compared to a typical paper try. And, the small LCD is not a big deal. How often does a home user look at this. The build quality feels a little light...time will tell.

XTA Large ink capacity and rear paper feeder make it # ! .

It is not really an ALL in one as I fail to find a fax port , or a command to fax. I just installed the printer on my wifi network for use by multiple computers. The best feature is the rear paper feeder as most MFG have done away with rear paper feeders. . One big advantage to rear paper feeders is that one can unload and re load different weights, paper sizes, and envelope sizes much faster than changing out a front paper tray Better yet, the rear paper feeders do not jam ( I have never had a paper jam from a rear paper feeder in decades of working with various paper weights,, sizes and envelope sizes .) Another plus is ET 2550 is also much lighter in weight than the normal multifunction machine. The down size is the price and the material it is built from. (thin light plastic) which might be easily broken,) It also does not have a fax function Price, material , and no fax brought it down from a 5 star to a 4 star for me. The huge individual color ink tanks are a very big plus. They contain about 10 times as much ink as some other MFG separate color tanks. Ease of use is yet to be tried and reliability after a year or so is yet to be determined . Other than the above Great color, neat printing. but scanning a doc to save as a doc is tricky if even available ( have to play with it and read the manual ?)
I also love my rear paper feeder Epson Work force 4630 that I have had for over a year. My fear is that these large ink tanks for the WF 4630 will no longer be available and make the unit useless. WHILE IT IS A GREAT MACHINE I ONLY GIVE THE WF 4630 A 4 STAR ALSO DUE TO THE COMMANDS BEING LESS USER FRIENDLY THAN OTHER MFG , Set up often defaults to unwanted two sided and the front paper tray even when I go through the maint tab mode ( for set up ? Odd place for set up ) and check the right boxes to keep the setting at rear paper feeder. While there are fewer rear paper feeder printers and multi printers Epson seems to be the only one who is still making some . Please keep making them .
