Unimpressive

It was difficult and unintuitive to set up with a tiny screen guide. Colors have been unimpressive. Don't know if it will be worth savings on ink cartridges.

I like the print quality, and the idea that it is ink efficient. The only draw back is that it does not offer a document feeder, so you need to print or scan one page at a time. I called Epson, and customer service said this printer is designed for printing pictures!. Nowhere on the box or information says that. I like it but I don't know yet if I will keep it or not, depends on how annoyed I get if I have to scan or print a document.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am satisfied with this printer however, when I print with the folded booklet mode the pages are out of order.

Set up was so easy. Even filling the ink tanks was a snap. Prints very good and fast. If not laser speed pretty close.

Had to replace under warranty after 11 months of minimal use

Started printing lines through the text and photographs, called banding. Could not fix via troubleshooting methods. Luckily was within warranty period and Epson replaced with a new printer which I have just now installed. I see the price decreased by $100 since I purchased mine 11 months ago. :( Hopefully this one will not break since my warranty period is now over.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
