My favorite printer yet!

I love building paper models and this printer is the best when I have so many I make, before I could only print a few models before running out of ink, but not anymore.

Great ink capabilities and easy wireless connectivity

I purchased this printer about one month ago. I am very impressed with the ink ecotank and lack of expensive ink cartriges and the ease of connecting wireless. However the fact that it doesn't have fax capabilities (costs an additional $100) is definitely a detriment. Filling the ink tanks, no matter how careful I was, still resulted in ink all over my fingers. The printer is definitely not fast and only having a rear paper tray where the paper is always exposed is not a great feature either. The idea of the ecotray is fantastic, but questionable as to the worth of the printer when there are other all-in-one printers that really have it all for a much reduced cost. You expect to spend more for the ecotray capability but while reducing your ink costs is also reduces the manufacturers cost of providing and filling the ink cartridges. I would recommend this printer, but only because of the ecotray.

I bought this a little over a month ago and am pretty happy with it. But the ink that was supposed to last up to 2 years is already half gone. I like the fact that I don't have to buy cartridges anymore.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

First print job

I just set up this new printer and was excited about getting better quality than my HP. My first print job on regular paper was not impressive at all! Hope that by using photo paper, it will substantially improve or it will be returned!

Great For It's Extra Ink Tank Supply

I bought this printer about a month ago just before I started my annual 2-page Christmas letter (total of 260 copies) which includes 1 page of several photos. This type of printing project on previous years has used about 3 Epson cartridges of each color to complete my project. After 1 month's heavy use, my cartridge levels show an average of about 1/3 usage. I have had some problems with my wi-fi connection on several occasions, so I have chose to use a direct USB printer cord to avoid being frustrated in getting a page to print (This problem could be that my Acer laptop does not seem to have a very strong wi-fi signal). I am please with the quality when printing photos.

Bought about a month easy set up for all of our devices, great to print from anyone to this printer, send notes to kids with check list of chores. LOVE IT

It just works!

After dealing with printer systems that employ cartridges for the ink supply, I am soooo happy that I found the Epson ET-2550. It may take a bit more time and care to load ink (it's actually really easy), but pays huge dividends on the operation side - both in the cost of ink, and how many pages I can print. I can check my ink supply at a glance, and this thing goes forever between fill-ups! Set-up was really straight forward, and the WiFi operating system works perfectly with my three Mac computers and one PC. While cartridge systems seem to always require head cleaning and re-alignment, the ET-2550 is ready without any fuss. The print quality is excellent, both for documents and photos. Size was a consideration for me, and the ET-2550 fits easily into my tight office space and looks good too. I'm really happy with this purchase, because everything just works!
