The simple fact that I am not changing ink cartridges often

I bought this printer because the 2540 that I brought from Texas was constantly having problems with the ink. The possibility that it got damaged during shipment caused me to look for another printer. I do more scanning than printing but I do not want to have problems printing and using ink like more than normal. This 2550 seems to fulfill that requirement.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this model specifically because of the large ink supply. I was tired of paying high prices for ink cartridges, and thought this would be worth the higher price to prevent from having to buy ink so often. It has done that, and is working great. It was easy to setup on my network and produces nice color and text. The only issue I have, is that it doesn't do two-sided printing. Had I realized this when I purchased it, I might have made a different choice.

Didn't realize that I can only scan one page at a time with this model. That is a major drawback for me

The best eco option for price and ink.

Been hearing about this printer on the radio for sometime, then the current printer died and instead of going with another cheap printer and a bunch of expensive cartridges, I went with this one. Love it. The only thing so far that has been an issue are the Mac drivers, but with a quick reset of the printer makes it all work just fine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good crisp printing but not on all papers. Photo printing, excellent images. Printing on plain paper good but not great. Confusing wifi hookup. Managed to make it work, just don't know how. Pricey up front but I don't have to replace ink cartridges every other month.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this a year ago and have had no problems. It's a good printer with plastic parts that are actually pretty good. The paper feed got knocked off when I moved the printer, but unlike so many plastic parts, this one didn't snap, so I was able to put it back into its place. Ink is good and lasting.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The only way to get the quality of a good print is to print on the highest quality. Which will use more ink so the point of buying this printer might not be as beneficial as I thought. It's a pretty slow print on high quality as well which is not a great feature. This is the second epson I bought, originally went with a work force but couldn't handle the excessive noise. This one is better in that respect. In the end I went with this so I wasn't running out of ink all the time. I don't normally write reviews, I only did this one because I can't get the unit to scan, worked once and then stopped. Went through the menus and it told me that it was registered so I thought I better do so.....now off to figure out why I can't scan!!! In the end I'm still on the fence about this printer, can go either way yet.
I would recommend this to a friend!
