Prints good and no more cartridges

We have been using our printer for about three months now and the ink has not even dropped that you can tell. We print a lot for our own use and our church. The images are not Laser print quality but I would compare it to any other ink jet printer with cartridges. We have used exclusively HP for years but the cost of ink has gotten too high so we made the switch and so far I have not regretted it. The replacement ink is way cheaper than cartridges as well so if this printer prints this good for at least two years we will have saved more than triple the cost of the printers just in replacement cartridges alone. Lovein it!

I bought this a month ago but I just got it installed. The manufacturer should include a USB cable in order to have it connected to the internet. I has to purchase a USB cable before I was able to the internet downloaded.

Complexity with Settings

This printer is too complex for use by a recreational user. I am not a "techy". I need to be able to find "change from blk text to color". I cannot find this. I have trouble finding "scan". That's all I want from this printer. Just to do simple tasks (print in color or text in blk) or to scan a document that I have printed out. How hard is that? You should make a model that is simpler and USER FRIENDLY...not just overly complicated with tons of selections. It has been impossible to find simple "OK's". Not everyone out here is a "techy". Your customer base is home users. Help them out.

Excellent purchase

I got tired of paying outrageous prices for ink, so I found a fantastic solution: Epson! Yes, the printer costed more, but it came with full bottles of ink that are on track to last me a full year of printing. That alone will recover the higher cost of the printer in a single year, and I still haven't paid any extra for ink. VERY satisfied.
