I love this printer. The set up and installation of the software were so simple. I am not a techy person so I was very happy I could do this by myself. The printer itself is amazing. It prints super fast and the copies are very crisp and clean The best part is that the ink lasts for 2 years! I am going to recommend this printer to all my friends.

Excellent, Easy to use

Just purchased the 2550 over the weekend for my home/office and found it easy to set up and it has worked flawlessly. It takes a little time on the set up but most of that is waiting on the ink to charge, 20 minutes. Everything came up perfectly, I just put in the wireless, connected iphone and ipad to it as well with one computer hard wired. Be a little careful when putting in the ink, take your time, otherwise it could be messy. Envelopes print, copier works, scanner works. It sounds a little noisier than my last one, but overall great.

A money saving work horse-Needs larger paper tray

Recently purchased a Epson EcoTank printer. Love it for how affordable it is, for the quality of the prints and the amount of pages it can print before it needs ink refills - which are reasonable, compared to color cartridges.
One BIG problem on this and the lager 4550 model - the paper tray is not well engineered and I hope the next version will have a capacity for 200 pages on the model 2550 and 500 pages on the 4550.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Epson Ecotank 2550 all in one printer

This printer is a very good printer with multiple functions of copying, printing and scanning. It is essentially a plug and play. The refillable ink bottles last a long time and make printing less expensive. The one drawback is that the ink is not as permanent and smears or runs on the page when damp or wet. I am hopeful that the savings will make this difficulty bearable..

We wanted to get a printer that would last longer than the usual throw-a-ways. We took the plunge decided to pay the price for the EcoTank. Setup was easy, we made it through without spilling any ink. Wifi connected without any problems, test pages were a bit blurry, but after printing a few more they looked very good. I'm sure the copies would look better yet if we used good quality paper. So far we are happy with the purchase.

Easy to install. And great copy. The system is small and compact. I usually have trouble with printers but I found this easy to work with. I would recommend this to anyone who is considering a new printer.

Problems

I have had this printer for maybe close to a year. I am having trouble with it picking up the paper to print. Have to shut it off turn it on and them it works but starts to print from the first page. Also I don't like the quality of the printing. Have it set on best printing and still get lines through the lettering and pictures. Bought this because of great ink options and wanted to print my photos. Does lousy photos. Has always been really bad at photos. Only reason I keep it is I can still read what I print and get a lot of printing for the price of ink. Just don't try to print photos anymore. It also cuts off the heads when I tried to print certain photos. Was so hoping it would do quality printing but it doesn't.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
