Scanning is very slow

For a small business that scans copy multiply documents, I would not recommend this printer because it's really slow took 20 minutes to scan 10 pages.. 2 minutes per page.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

DELIVERS EXACTLY AS PROMISED -- but there is a great danger

I was actually VERY IMPRESSED WITH THIS PRINTER ------- HOWEVER, MY USERS ABSOLUTELY HATED IT.
I brought one of these, as an experiment, into my employers facility as an answer to a request from accounting to reduce ink cartridge costs by at least 50 %, even if "severe sacrifices" needed to be endured in order to do so.
It DEFINITELY delivered because its ink cost per page is about a tenth of the other printers in use here. Print quality was great. Function was great. WiFi worked flawlessly and was easy to connect. I myself found NO PROBLEMS at all.
However, Complaints about slow printing were so severe and so widespread that top mangement told me to send it back.
Apparently, SLOW PRINTING IS CONSIDERED WORSE than the "severe sacrifices" that top management said we had to make in order to save money.
MY RECOMMENDATION IS FOR EPSON TO speed up the printing of these models to speeds comparable to laser printers (around 55 pages per minute) BECAUSE PEOPLE ARE APPARENTLY NOT TALKING ABOUT PRINTING SPEED WHEN THEY SAY THEY CAN "ACCEPT SOME SACRIFICES" !!
So instead, we are eliminating 90% of the desktop printers in our company and positioning the remaining printers in public areas. People are apparently WILLING TO WAIT IN LONG LINES to use one of the few remaining printers AS LONG AS THEY PRINT FAST WHEN THEY GET TO USE IT. GO FIGURE !?!??!!!???
I AM MAKING THIS STARKLY "BAD" REVIEW WITH THE SINCERE HOPE THAT EPSON WILL DO AS I SUGGEST (SPEED THEM UP TO 55 PAGES PER MINUTE) --------- BECAUSE I VERY MUCH WANT TO BE ABLE TO USE THIS WONDERFUL PRINTER TO SAVE MONEY FOR MY EMPLOYER !!! The printer is great along with the tank ink supply.
But the scanner setup is NOT in any way so far easy.
Matter of fact I would drop kick it if I could afford that.
There is NOTHING intuitive about it. I will persevere and eventually figure it out but this is nonsense.

Like idea of low cost ink

Purchased about a week ago and it's working good so far. Print quality is average for an ink jet, but I like the approach to reduce ink costs. I just tried the scanning software for the first time today, and I'm not a fan. I attempted to scan multiple pages with the ADF, all pages were scanned, but software would only capture the first page. I used the scan to computer option on the printer's LCD and that worked like a champ. Recommend Epson improve the PC-based software.
I would recommend this to a friend!

So Much for So Little

I am familiar with having to work hard to make use of high quality items while lower quality usually means ease of use. I was surprised with the Epson ET-4750. This is definitely a high quality machine with fantastic pictures and great scanning, faxing and copying. And yet, it was so easy to set up, The instructions were clear and easy to follow. This is a great machine from a fantastic company. Thank you.

Does great printing, copying, scanning, & faxing.
The printing is extra-fast after the initial "wakeup", and the on-paper print quality rivals a Laser printer.
I like the economical Eco-Tank idea.
This All-In-One unit easily replaced my previous printer, scanner, & fax machines.
