Excellent features

This printer is an excellent printer however, there are really no real clear instructions that come with it and you must go on the web to truly find out how to use it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

printing photos

I don't like the difficulty of printing photos I have wasted a lot of ink trying to print some 5x7 photos they do not print as expected. It cuts off the end subject in the photo and shifts everything to the left. There is no selection in the menu for 5x7 paper. I have placed it on the marks in the tray the whole picture shows but fails to print the whole picture never had this problem with my other printer
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So long ink cartridges!

Hope this new unit runs for many years. Easy to set up for copy, scan, fax, and print. Stable performance so far. Wish it could duplex scan and the scan speed is slower than my last Epson Workforce. I planned a stand-alone scanner purchase so those issues can be mitigated.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have been through so many printers, always let down. So far so good on the ET-4550. Quality unit and with the huge ink reservoirs, may be saving a lot of money on ink. Keeping my fingers crossed.

This is my second Epson printer and I am super excited about it. I have bought several inkjet printers, from multiple brands but all of them seem to lack something or do certain tasks with difficulty. My last printer before this one was the Work force 7620. This was almost the perfect inkjet printer for me until I found the Eco-Tanks. The Eco-Tank printer has almost all the great features from the workforce series, but with a massive ink tank that lasts 11,000 pages before needing to refill the ink. The one feature is missing from the WF-7620 is a large paper tray and a secondary paper tray. Other than that it is the perfect all-in-one inkjet printer.
