Printing is great! Scanning is terrible!

Printing is excellent and reasonably fast and I like the duration of the ink wells. The scanning, however, is terrible, very slow and jams often. I have many other Espson Printers and all of them are much faster scanning and don't jam as much.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Im happy with the capabilities of what this little guy can run!! I actually wanted to test the ink to see if it would bleed if the documents printed got wet. Once the ink was completely dry, I let a black & white document out in the rain all night and it didn't bleed!! That's Awesome!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

set up was easy but takes a some time with the ink loading. prints great. nice footprint. PPM rate is average. fax and scans easily. really needs a larger paper magazine should hold a ream. just for the ink savings it is an awesome printer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this printer over six months ago and only just did my first ink refill on it. I do a lot of printing and this is main reason that I bought this printer. I no longer have to longer have to constantly spend money on ink cartridges. Also, the bottles of ink for this printer cost less than the cartridges that I used to have to buy.
Another thing I love about this printer is that I don't have to run a page through to prime it before printing, which I had to do with my last printer. It also does a really great job on images.
I would highly recommend this printer to anyone who does a lot of printing. It will save you so much money on ink cartridges.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The features on this printer sounds wonderful but it has been the most difficult printer to operate.
