The ink containers are huge!!!

No little containers that must be recycled and repurchased over and over again. These huge containers are big enough to last for a year, but the printer is small and easy to set on a small table.
We love this printer, the BEST we have ever had. We have owned it for about 2 years

Bought this 6 months ago. I use it for personal, home business, teenagers and middle school kids reports, kids high school design and artwork assignments.
Works great. Great quality of print, and the value per page has turned out awesome!

Low Ink Cost Overrides the Slow Printing

I have been using this printer for over one year. It is easy to install and set up. Printing in color all the time and not having to replace ink cartridges is fantastic! The replacement ink is not expensive. The printer is slow (I am comparing it to a Laser), will lose connection to my computer approximately three times a year (I reboot the wireless router to reconnect) and the duplex printing is extremely slow. BUT - the cost of the ink totally makes up for these complaints I have.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Adjusting to Print quality

I like the fact that the ink comes in bulk and I fill the well of any color that gets low. It seems less wasteful that way. I was disappointed with the print quality. It doesn't seem as crisp as my prior printer of another company. As I continue to use it I don''t notice it so much anymore but I still think it could have been sharper.

Love the ecotank!

I like the features on this unit and with the EcoTank system, I'm expecting to save a lot on ink. The setup and installing the ink was painless, but I had a problem with print quality right out of the box. Brand new, right from the store, but I had to clean the print heads 5 times before it would start printing without lines. Still have to use "high" quality mode to look normal. I know the internals come from a much cheaper model, but I was still expecting a little better.
I would recommend this to a friend!
