About time for the EcoTank

My previous printers always seemed to run out of ink - a lot - and I would get annoying reminders weeks before the ink finally ran out.
I had a previous Epson Ecotank printer that I just loved - it's actually still on the original ink after about 1 1/2 years. My only complaints were that the tray only held 100 sheets of paper, and it did not have an ADF. This model addresses both of them.
Easy to set up - but does take some time for the initial set up. I just got this, but I anticipate that I'll like it just like my other one.

Two things I would to see improved in the future: 1)Make it easier to see how much ink supply is left. Make it a clear plastic front instead of the white front.
2) Add one supply tray strictly for photo paper.
I like the ease of filling up the ink supply; the much cheaper price for ink; the print quality.
It is noisy but I noticed there is a quieter setting but it warns that the printing will be slower. I haven't tried it yet.
I hope the reviews as to durability are incorrect. I hope this printer lasts more than the two years predicted.

good printer apple air print instructions not complete

3 hours to set up and register. Have not been able to setup the apple air print as yet.

Straight forward setup. Just take your time. I hooked up all cables before add the ink, (that made things go easy/peesy ) I will replace my other shop printer with an Epson. The Can** printer I've been using sucks in comparison

We bought Epson 4750, in Dec, and we're very happy with our decision!! It's easy to setup & safes on ink. no troubles with it!!

Such a great printer

I bought this last month and this has been the most amazing printer I've ever had. Over the past 2 years I've been through 3 or 4 printers and was afraid I wouldn't be able to find one, at a reasonable price, to last through our many many pages or printing for homeschool. Before I had almost given up on finding an all in one that would do everything but this little printer has been my saving grace. I can scan, copy, and print to my heart's content. The ink has barely moved at all and we have already been through well over 1,000 sheets of paper! This alone makes it a great printer but the ease of use and all around versatility are what I really love. Thank you for such a wonderful product.
