Excellent Printer!

I've had the Epson ET-4750 for about 3 months. It was VERY easy to set-up and not a drop of ink spilled during the tank filling! It came with plenty of ink and I don't worry anymore if I am going to run out of ink! Prints very nicely, too! One thing that would be a great added feature would be to be able to do more paper set-up from my computer vs. walking over to the printer to tell it I have already loaded the "photo paper" or I have switched back to "plain paper". Even if you have already loaded the correct paper, it beeps until you physically go over and push the right buttons to say, "yes, I have installed the correct paper."
I would recommend this to a friend!

Packed with features, but...

It may not be fair to compare the Epson ET-4750 to my previous printer, a Kodak Hero 9.1. But I was used to a large 2x4 glorious full color high contrast screen. I can barely see the print on the ET-4750's tiny screen. It's technically color, but with a palette of only about 4 colors. And the software on my Kodak, was far more robust, including the addition of text to your scans & a host of other features not found in the spare bare bones software included with my new one
Having bashed it for these not insignificant misses, it was easy to set up. And how can you not like the ink economy! The inks filled easily, with no mess, it prints in B&W & color, beautifully, & in fine detail. (I printed the most lovely photo of my Pug Tesla II, on 4×6 photo paper.) The printer has a much smaller footprint than my old one, fairly compact for a all in one printer. It scanned and faxed a 12 page document easily. And as for scanning, they have an inovative fold-away ADF tray. My old printer was always filled with dust, if I didn't keep it covered. So it's not a bad all in one. Price-wise, it wasn't bad at all, either! I just wish they had a more polished suite of software & better, more easily viewable screen, so am giving it a 4 out of 5. I'd recommend it with those 2 caveats.

Great Printer

I bought this printer primarily because of the EcoTank. So far it has worked flawlessly in printing documents, scanning and faxing. I only experienced one minor difficulty with the printer and that is of the small display. Because I have large fingers, it is difficult to make selections on such a little screen. Had this feature been a little larger, I would have given the product 5 stars

Generally Great with some caveats

This unit performs all it's physical functions excellently with one exception, the copy/fax sheet feed seems to jam frequently. My main problem is with the excess of unnecessarily intrusive/disruptive software that seems to load even when it is not required, ie; scan and fax functions. These should only load when they are used.

I bought this on the recommendation of Kim Komando. Best decision I've made in a long time. I'm sticking with Epson.

Best Printer for Documents (not Photos!)

I am so glad I purchased this printer - it has been a real workhorse for document printing I need to do - I can always rely on it! I would not recommend it for fine art printing - but of course - another epson printer built to do that should be on your desktop too if you are a photographer or designer like I am :)

Pain in the neck
on August 8, 2019

Not user friendly. It is a pain in the neck to connect to WiFi with any device. I have reboot my WiFi anytime I want to use it. I liked the fact it had a lot of ink but not worth the aggravation.
