Epson Eco Tank ET-4750 Left HP after many years & don't miss

I purchased this printer after my HP 8620 stopped working for no reason after less than 4 years of use. The message was printhead missing or failed. I followed all instructions to no avail. I then studied Epson and saw that it has very reasonable ink cost and ability to scan at 1200 resolution. I am still learning how to use, since I have been an HP customer for several decades. This printer weighs approx. 16 lbs and fits in a small space. I have had no paper jam. I will be able to print in black only without being penalized as with HP. I bought this model, now discontinued, rather than ET-4760, because they said it had a USB connection. Actually it has a port to connect a USB cable, but I have not figured out the use for it in a few days --reason for 4 stars not 5. It is not super fast, but prints well, and I no longer worry about how much ink I am using. With this model I received 2 sets of ink, which could last 1-2 years. Thanks Epson!

Will not disappoint !

Bought this as a upgrade, I'm a Samsung girl normally. Well let me tell you this printer ROCKS!! It prints clean, a bit noisy but it more then makes up for it..I'm very active in my church and print flyers and coloring pages all the time so having the EcoTanks is a win for me...
I would recommend this to a friend!

Just set up printer. Had a problem with it showing out of paper. Come to find out it was a paper jam. Hopefully this will not become an issue. It was time consuming, but easy to set up.

We replaced an HP printer with the Epson - WorkForce ET 4750. Print quality is great and the Eco Tank is the reason we purchased this product . Happy we made the change.

Getting Away From Expensive Cartriges

I really researched home printers before making this purchase and decided on this one. I am so happy I did. The thing that drew me to it were it’s many features and capabilities, the longevity of the ink between refills, and the other good reviews from other buyers. One of my best purchases ever.

Ink wells are only positive

I have been using this printer for several months now. The refillable ink wells are the only good thing about it. It is incredibly slow to print; The fax feeder performs consistently poorly – requiring faxing one page at a time using the glass rather than the feeder; and the scanner can’t find my laptop requiring a cable connection rather than WiFi. If I had to do it again, I would not buy this printer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
