Works as expected

I bought this printer as a replacement for my 4550 ET. The 4550 started to have quality issues with the black nozzel. The 4550 was just out of warranty and to send out for repair was not an option, I could not be with any printer for any length of time. I contacted Epson about this and they were able to offer some monitary assistance in purchasing a new printer. The new printer was delivered on time with out issues. I did like the control panel on the 4550 more than the control panel on my new 4750 ET. The screen is very small and I have to use a stylist to navigate the different options. Other than that the printer is funtioning well as I exspected.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Serious Kinks!

I bought this for my main printer, including photos, & am so disappointed after only 2 months!! Right off the bat the paper rollers would grab multiple pages & spit them out. Then it began to jam. Everyday it shows a paper jam & after fixing the jam, it might print 1 page then shows another jam but there’s no paper jammed. At that point I have to unplug it to clear the jam. This happens every single time!!!
The pull out touch screen doesn’t “lock” so when you press the touchscreen, it pushes it closed.
The print quality (when it works) is above average zoo gave it 2 stars vs 1. I am taking it back to the store when I return from my trip. This was much too expensive a printer to put up with this!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great on ink usage, but .........

This printer uses less ink than any printer I have ever owned. I have printed over 1,000 pages and the ink indicator on the bottle has dropped down very slightly. Print speed is acceptable. The downside is that the printer setup can be a bear. I have three pcs which I connected; one of those (an hp touch screen) took longer to setup than the other two combined (all are hps). After much blood, sweat, and tears, I finally got the printer to recognize the hp touch screen. No printer setup should be that difficult.

This all-in-one has it all (except 5G WiFi)

Good quality printing, moderately fast, easy setup (even for WiFi devices) and supports air print directly from my iPhone. BUT note that this device does not support 5G WiFi connections. (Thus the good but not excellent rating).
I would recommend this to a friend!
