I have a Mac and ...

I bought this several months ago and now it is dog-slow. It took 6 minutes to print a one-page document and it only p printed 50% of the page. This is unacceptable. It worked like a charm when I first got it, but 5 months later ... I ain't a happy camper. Do love the ink storage capacity and the free ink with the purchase though, but if I could only get it to print right ... (sighs)
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Horrible App Integration and Web Printing

The web service is circa 1999 it is not user friendly and lacks thought and investment. I would not buy if you plan to do any business related activities.

I like the ink tanks.

Nice ink system using tanks. Feeder for scanning is unreliable and stops feeding. Sometimes the paper doesn't load even though it has plenty of paper.

I'm a 54 year old network engineer and worked in a home and office environment for 35+ years. I have four kids three that are still in HS and am the treasurer for a small non-profit so we do probably above average amount of printing. I bought the et4750 two years ago and am just now refilling the black ink tank for the first time with the extra bottle that came with the printer. That fact alone is amazing. But is also has great print quality, small form factor, sheet feeder, duplex, etc., etc. and there's a driver for Linux. I can't find a Linux driver for that one we have in the office ("D...") in the office. A giant thumbs up to Epson.

Yes, I did buy this machine a month ago and am very happy that I did. The ink levels still show as full. Wow, what a change that is from the old ink guzzler. Have had no problems so far. No jams, no errors. It is not a photo printer, but you can play with the settings to get a fairly good picture on photo paper. The LCD screen is pretty small and makes it hard for fat fingers to make the choices on it. I prefer to choose the settings thru the printer software. The machine is small, light weight, and a pleasure to use compared to my old machines.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Epson ET-4750 is a world class printer!

I love my ET-4750 eco Tank printer, would not purchase any other printer! Never worried about running out of ink or hurrying out to buy expensive ink cartridges that have little or no ink in them. Fill the tanks and your good for two years! Copy, fax, Scan it does it all...
