I Almost had to Wait!

There is literally more cash in my wallet nowadays since I purchased your ET-4550 EcoTank printer with its nearly bottomless ink system. My former printer with its frequent need of expensive cartridge refills was causing my wallet much grief. The only problem I've had with your ET-4550 is that for about 50 pages there appeared annoying super-thin horizontal blank lines spaced about one-half inch apart on each of my documents. I was hoping that the problem would correct itself... and it did! The problem seemed to have been resolved after I printed a landscape oriented page. Voila! The landscape document had no annoying lines... and the problem has not returned. Great! Because I just love your new ET-4550 bottomless tank printer. So does my wallet!

It's great having a printer that lasts so long between refills. No cartridges to deal with. I do not feel constrained when printing many pages. Works great with my 27" iMac. Initial cost was high but worth it for the reduction in refill issues for years. The continuously visible ink tanks are hassle free. If there was any complaint I have it would be that I wish settings would remain from my last print or scan job without having to redo them. But that is minor. Good job Epson.

I love the machine. Copies come out crisp and fast. I like the ability to print on both sides. The scanner works wonderfully in black & white and color. I'm very happy I purchased this machine.

Review of my purchase of Epson ET-4550 printer

The ET-4550 is a fairly fast printer that is easy on ink and economical to use. It's speed is moderate and I have experienced no paper jams or problems with this printer. I would have liked a color view screen, as found on other Epson printers such as the XP-630 and XP-830 and I also would have appreciated an SD card slot as is found on the two previously-mentioned printers. That said, this printer prints photos very well in addition to color documents as well as black text documents. In short, it is the best printer I've ever owned, surpassing even my other Epson printer.

this is a good printer, it is an easy set up and with all those ink, it is worth it. now the color is fine for online tickets etc., but if you want photo print I'm not sure... maybe it will be fine with inkjet photo paper otherwise the ink is too dark. I didn't think I would ever buy another inkjet printer again, but this is a good one... as the title of the model suggest... work force i.e. work horse n it is great.

I have owned MFPs for many years, and I purchased this one, because of the ink wells. With a family of 5, I burn through ink like crazy- especially three computer print out hungry children. I am very impressed with the quality of the printouts. Also, my network configuration is a bit complex, but Epison made it incredibly easy, not only to make their printer work with my configuration, but also to make the scanner work. I love the ability to associate the scanner to an IP address. Common sense right? I look forward to many years of enjoyment from this workhorse.
