Regret buying two of 4760

Comparing the Features of the 4750. I regret buying 2 of them. NOT able to print document when they are in the ADF. Use to features that the 4750 has. Only good for 50,000 copies whe the mechanical box needs to be replace. I replace one from a previous Epson printer after 100,000. Got it back from the shop in Sacramento it will not work. The shop did not reset the copy number. It became a Paper weight, finally turned it in for a reduction in price of a new one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Terrible for photos, overall subpar colors

I bought this printer due to the individual ink tanks. However the quality of printing is very disappointing . Colors are not very vibrant and not impressive at all. As an everyday printer where draft printing is ok, fine but forget using it for any presentation document. As far as photos go don’t even bother. Black look blue and again they are not vibrant. Even tried the recommended Epson photo paper. My $29 Kodak Veribrite puts this printer to shame.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Replacement Printer

Received as a Christmas gift to replace and ailing 6 year old WF-2540.
Good rather than great for 2 reasons: 1st - it took quite a bit of time to get it set up.
2nd - it is much noisier than my previous printer.

I have not used it much yet but I have noticed that several features that were not compatible with Mac computers are compatible with this model.
I would recommend this to a friend!

EcoTank is a great concept but unit needs work

Positives: I LOVE the ability to refill the ink cartridges with a simple inexpensive refill bottle. The concept is a game-changer. 5 Stars on that feature for sure.
Negatives: 1.Printer/Scanner/Copier is slow & super noisy when operating. 2.Print quality poor and needs improvement 3. Document Feeder is extremely twitchy and does not pick up documents accurately or in sequence. 4. Touch screen is too small.
** If those features improve this machine is 5 stars for sure.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Too expensive, slow, does not show errors

Epson printers are expensive. ET-4750 does print two sided,but not from web. Printer all of sudden stopped working. Not moved or jiggled at all, but USB connection on printer might be failing. I very much like my all in ones, with ability to scan and copy. Have had an all in one for many decades. ET-4750 is OK

Reliable and quiet operation

I have had a number of HP printers and hated the constant need for cartridge refills at high prices. I finally researched other printers and found the Epson to best meet my needs. Bottom line: it's a great printer! I love the convenience of the very large ink capacity, the ability to do two sided color printing, the print/copy feed mechanism, and the overall good appearance of the printer in my home office.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love the ink tanks!

I've had my printer for months now, and use it constantly. Still have half the black ink left and over half of the colored inks! It's amazing. And I still have a complete set of refill bottles that came with the printer. I'm very pleased.
