Outstanding Ink Jet

ET-4750 user for about a year My biggest complaints with ink jet units was the ink nozzles drying, clogging, and becoming unusable or requiring unit teardown to restore functionality often if unused for short periods (including Epson’s) and the astronomical prices for ink cartridges that always need changing…NOT SO with the ET-4750
My outstanding ET-4750 just works when needed regardless of being neglected for several weeks/months at a time. It does everything asked of it (within reason) without complaint. It scans great, output is clean/clear, duplexes when needed, and is wonderfully miserly on expendables that are reasonably priced.
Thank you, Epson, for restoring my faith in your products and giving me this outstanding unit.

Sheet feeder tray is not very good. Ink dries out?

When I put sheets into the feeder tray they often don't feed. There's no way to tell how far you have to shove the paper in to get it to feed. Also, no where in your literature do you talk about the need to often use the printer to keep the heads from self destructing or drying out. My yellow went dead after using or not using the printer within a month after buying the thing.

Just Buy It!

Used this technology for years. Had my ET-4750 for years on our Motorcoach. Perfect match for printing. Beats HP hand down. Support for the product is also superior! Best ink usage that is have found on the market! Economical and good pictures for the money. Love the wireless attachment to almost anything! Even cut the cord.

I bought my new Epson printer four months ago. I don"t print much material but when I do I want it quickly and cheaply. I am not very good with new technology and I am elderly so I need something that's easy to operate. Epsom meets all these requirements that I have. I have had a very, very good experience with this printer to date. One of the best purchases I have made in years.

Autofeed does not work well!

I bought this printer to make it easier (and cheaper) replacing ink cartridges. The feeder does NOT work well! To prevent feeding problems, I use the bed. A major pain in the neck. I'll call Epson but don't expect any help.

Great features for the price.

Bought this to replace a Brother printer based on recommendation by Kim Komando. Initial price, the ease of use, the quality, and the cost of maintenance are more than satisfactory.

Got a refurbished replacement for my original printer. I forgot what a hassle it is to set this thing up. Should come with a ream of paper and a paycheck.

Doesn't take up a lot of space

Setup was fairly easy. Printer doesn't take up a lot of space. Will automatically print on both sides of the paper.
