Great Printer

This is our second EcoTank. Our 1st one is the ET-4550. It still works great, just needed another one in the office so we added the ET-4750. Set up went great, Everything hooked up well and logged on perfect.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It does the job for me. I wish it was a little more solid---the output tray, for example, appears to be flimsy and vulnerable. But it does what I need, and if the ink costs bear out over the next couple of years, I will be 100% satissfied.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The workforce is a workhorse

This printer is a solid partner in my office. Easy to install.. Ink is inexpensive. Features are easy to access.. Print quality is great.
The only downsides:
1) Even on QUIET mode its really noisy. and a kind of irritating crunching scratching noise.
2) The draft mode is poor, but usable. You can barely see the print. In my other printer, the draft print was almost as dark as regular. You just noticed a lower quality.. more pixelization... but i could use that in most of my normal printing.
You can barely use for everyday printing, so you use more ink.. Thankfully the ink costs are lower than on many other printers...
The only downsides:

I am impressed with the updated new Epson super tank printer. Easy refilling of the tanks are much better, but the one downside is that when it feeds paper on a very large print job, it keeps adding blank pages, and not loading each page, then it thinks it out of paper. So I have to reload a full tray, and do it multiple times, very disappointed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

the first time I used the copy feature a line came out on the copy and I have not been able to get rid of it no matter what I have tried

Great Printouts but slow and small interactive screen

I'm very pleased with the quality of the printing and the ease of use over our home network. Very easy to set up and works across multiple devices. The small interactive screen is a significant drawback. The lack of double sided scanning is also a negative. The scanning software does not provide a preview during the scan. You either have to do a preview and rescan to scan or go direct to the scan without seeing first. The scanning software does not let you save to a specific location or name the scan. The software assigns it's own numeric name which I have to go back in a change.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've had this printer for about 3 weeks and it performs great! Only problem I have is maintaining the wireless capabilities from day to day. The display reads a good wireless connection, but I have to power the unit off and back on to reestablish connection if its been more than a few minutes since I've remotely printed on it.
I would recommend this to a friend!
