Love The ET-4750 EcoTank!
on April 5, 2019

I purchased the EcoTank 4750 about a month ago and I have been very pleased with it so far. Setting up the printer was very easy and directions were clear and easy to follow. I only have a couple of things that could be improved - the main one being able to do double-side printing on 5 ½ x 8 ½ paper! I do a lot of double sided printing on the half sheets of paper and it’s rather annoying to have to manually double side the printing. Please do an upgrade to include this option! The other thing that could be improved is to have a larger screen. It’s pretty hard to use the screen and choose the correct option and I have very small fingers. All in all I would definitely recommend purchasing this printer as it’s a workhorse and love the fact that I won’t need to purchase ink so often. Great job Epson!

Initial Set Up Was Not Good
on April 10, 2019

The initial small instruction card was too small of a font for me to read (yes, I'm older.) Then the printer took me through 6-7 set up steps to review print alignment, none of which could I easily read. Then the questions didn't make any sense, either. I finally figured out the way their questions related to the printout diagrams and was able to get through the process after much frustration. WAY too much set up for the consumer to do.

Noisy when operational
on April 11, 2019

So far the printer has been performing well and looking forward to the savings on the old ink cartridges. Ive been using Epson printers for over 10 years and continue to purchase them for the reliability and quick drying ink. The only complaint I would have with the WF ET-4750 is the level of noise it makes when operating.

Great Ink Savings
on May 6, 2019

I bought this printer because my HP was heading for the recycled trash pile! I love not having to buy ink cartridges every 6 weeks. The Ink tanks last through many pages of printing, both the black and color bottles fill the ink tanks completely. The extra bonus bottles of ink is a big help. Thanks!

Excellent

So far I have only run a hundred fifty pages through. Very impressed. Print speed is not the greatest, BUT the savings on ink, being able to scan, and the ability to print on both sides of the paper make this one of the better investments I have made concerning printers.

Simplest Printer to Set Up
on January 5, 2016

I have just completed the setup and it was one of the simplest printers, I have ever owned, to set up.
The initially test page look good.
Loading the ink is somewhat more complex than just popping in a cartridge, but the cost of the ink is much less than cartidges, and so I will live with that.
