Great Idea

I like the thought of no more cartridges. I think that bulk refill containers are cheaper and less of a hassle to get rid of. The printer works good and the scanner works great. I don't use the fax.

My main reason to buy this printer was EcoTank feature... "No ink Cartridges needed". I can save a lot $$$ over next few months to years. Just bought this printer and used it for about 2 weeks. It does work great. For trial I have printed about 200 mix black & white and color sheets so far in two weeks and now warning shows to regularly check ink level. Epson advertise that you can print almost 10,000 copies up to one year with one time ink filled in tanks. Black ink tank level has gone down significant. Just worried that do I need to fill ink soon now??? I like this machine but too early to comment on ink level going down. Watching and trying to figure out on all ink levels day to day. Black ink tank is larger then magenta, cyan and yellow ink tank. All three color ink tanks levels are full and lots of ink in tanks. I will keep using this printer and will know more in next few weeks. I print average 250 to 300 copies a month. If I do not need to fill ink soon now up to almost one year then it is great to own this printer. Overall it is a nice printer. Print quality is good. Works Great! It is expensive to buy compare to other printers but down the road it will pay by itself if it does work the way it has been advertised by Epson that it prints almost 10000 plus copies for up to a year. Just watching to see if I will need to fill ink soon??? I will post my opinion again in two more weeks after using this printer.

Love this printer - we print food and beer menus 3-4 days per week, and this brought out printing costs way down. The only bad thing about this printer is the inability to scan double-sided. For the price, this would be a normal expectation considering other printers of like size and capability. Not that it's used much, but it's a huge inconvenience since it doesn't have this capability. Other than that, so far so good, I've had one at home for 4 months and it's been great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Simple effective and easy to set up. Looking forward to not having to buy ink cartridges every month. Ink fill was simple and set up was almost automatic.

Printer all in one ET4550 EcoTank

Easy to set up printer with instructions very clear to follow. It only took 30 minutes for a complete set up out of the box to the point where I was printing on my wifi network. The only thing that I would say would be an improvement is to provide an extended key pad with extra characters. Today's wifi networks passwords have special characters. Other than this, the set up was very user friendly on this all in one printer.

Love it!!!
Was very easy for me to setup and started printing right away. The ink tanks are big about time someone came up with a good idea. One thing is the paper tray is the smallest I have ever seen. But thats okay with me I never do mega printing. I still love my printer. Best printer I ever had so far.

Double Sided Printing problem for Remote Print

Love this printer! Bought it for our church which is 22 miles away. I love that I can print to it from my home. I can have the church newsletter (in color) ready for Sunday morning when we get there! HOWEVER, I'm not able to print double-sided on the REMOTE PRINT - there seems to be a driver issue - BUT, the wonderful support team is working on the problem and I'm very confident that I just need to be patient and they will resolve the problem. Very cost efficient. Paper tray is small (holds about 150 sheets), wish it was bigger. BUT, I'll take it! Looking for quality colored newsletters at a lower price than our present black and white copier. Pretty excited about this, easy setup and I highly recommend you go ahead and buy this if you are struggling with the decision.
