Best Printer I've Ever Owned

Clear crisp text and pictures make this an excellent printer. Add to that the fact you no longer have to buy ink cartridges but instead use bottles of ink at a fraction of the cost of cartridges and you have the perfect printer. The only thing you need to be careful is if you plan to move it. It's perfect on a desk where it will remain but it is not designed to move because of the open ink bottles in the refillable containers. If you have a permanent home for your printer that you don't move, then this printer is the best I have ever used.

We bought this a few weeks ago and really like the prints we get out of it. Even pictures turn out good. the only problem we have with it is the ability to receive faxes. Our old one had a button you would hit to turn the auto answer on or off, making it easy to receive them. If you don't follow the directions EXACTLY you will miss the fax.

Not to worry about ink supply is nice. Plenty of plastic sheeting and old clothes to fill the tanks to avoid staining is essential. Display does not show IP address; requires printing it.

Great on ink, not so much on image printing

I've been using this printer for work for several months now. I love how long the ink lasts. That's a huge money saver & the printer has almost paid for itself already in this short time.
The downsides: It is a loud printer. I would've expected this to be much more quieter when printing. Also, the quality of image printing, no matter what settings you use, is horrible. Although I don't do a lot of image printing for work, there are times I need to. So, I have to send it to a print service to take care of it because I will not put my name on the poor image quality from this printer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought this printer because I was teaching a class that required a ton of handouts. It prints fine, is very economical, and reliable. But I couldn't get wireless or two sided printing to work, for about a year. With a recent software upgrade, suddenly, all the whiz bang features started working. Love this printer now!

I bought this in April, paid more money than I ever would pay for a home use printer and I'm about to throw it out my front door! I have yet to use it ONE time that it doesn't say it's out of paper or there is a paper jam. Neither of which is the case! I bring work home forgetting about the last time, only to become even more angry over the time wasted trying to get it to print one stinking page and not getting any work done. Thanks Epson!!
