Too many updates

Epson updates cause havoc. Reinstalling the wireless connection and having to re download software and reregister the unit. The hardware is good except for the difficulty of entering special symbols in passwords needed for wifi. Software is not user friendly.

Most temperamental paper feed always jams, an NOWHERE CLOSE to advertise number of pages printable with full ink tank.

Small footprint is nice but option/print quality not nice.

Just purchased this today and need to make a quick double sided copy. The set up was easy and moved right along but trying to figure out the small screen and look for any written information on what to do was difficult to figure out. I still can't figure out how to get my copy to come out double sided. I'm going to try agian tomorrow when I have more time. The one side of the copy did come out dark but the letter weren't as crisp as my old HP - maybe some tweaking will help. I was just hoping it would come out of the box with no problems. Oh, the set up to my router went seamless.

It works good, but takes a while to get going

The print quality is good as long as you clean the print heads every now and then. But sometime it takes a long time for the page to print out once the document has been sent to the print driver. Maybe a couple of minutes. So this might not be ideal if you work in an office. According to Apple, this is a Epson issue with their software.

Functionality Issues

Been using the ET-4750. The print and copy printouts are fine and the ink system works great. However, the use of the menu screen is complicated when it comes to switching between single side or two side copying... duplex is complicated. Also, cannot get the Fax to work. Have tried numerous connections - my previous WF-600 worked fine. Not so for the ET-450. Fax is very important function for my use.
I may have to return this product if I can't get the Fax to work.

Limited optional print quality choices

Good printer for every-day printing. Not much capability to fine-tune print options for any kind of specialty printing. Would recommend as a general "every day printer" but not much else.

I bought this ET4750 after purchasing another wide width printer that ended up having the carriage for the ink broken. then it has taken me a week to get it connected to my network because you didn't make sure you were in compliance with Apple updates. I got it to print at midnight last night after a week of fiddling around. I will think twice before buying an Epson.

The set up for this printer still has me bamboozled. The flow of the process was inadequate for me to get the task accomplished. Other Best Buy customers had similar comments. So please, help me write you a better review, Epson. Let's get my printer set wirelessly so I can use what I have purchased.
