I bought my ET-4750 about 1 month ago and I'm SOOO glad I did! I did my research and wanted a mega-tank printer, and this is the one I chose from all the other Epson Eco-Tanks. It gives spectacular print, and wonderful color pictures. It was a bit of a chore to make sure the print-heads were all aligned and correct, and the initial print quality was up-to-spec, but after that, everything went along very smoothly. And now, after a LOT of printing - even a bunch of pictures - the ink levels have barely budged from 'full' ! One thing I would recommend to new buyers: when you begin the initial set-up and testing the alignment of the print and the quality, have a magnifying glass on-hand so you can see the fine lines and how they align. If you don't have a mag glass, or your eyes aren't perfect, you'll probably have some difficulty seeing the lines - they're THAT fine! BTW, make sure your computer's printer settings 'match' the settings on the printers display panel. If they don't match one another - the printer will scold you and tell you they don't! Wonderful printer!

I just brought home my new 4750 and what a breeze to set it up!! Plus the ink part was perfect and no mess at all, not even a drop

This is the first review I have ever done. I felt compelled to say something about this printer.
I purchased my printer a couple months ago. I thought the price of the printer was a little excessive but I weighed it against the fact that I spend excessive amounts of money on print cartridges.
The printer has all the features I need in a desktop printer for my home office. It was very simple to setup and network. I ran mine back to the router with an Ethernet cord and it has worked flawlessly for the entire household. There was nothing complicated or frustrating like I have run into in the past. I have had printers I would want to kick, throw or beat with a baseball bat. I am sure everyone has had an experience with a printer that did not cooperate at one time or another. This one was too easy.
If I was to have any criticism of this printer it would be the touch screen. It is too small. It is hard to read and the size makes it harder to use.That is really minor in my opinion of the bigger picture. I don't have to use the screen very often. If I used the fax I might have a stronger opinion of the screen...but I don't fax on it. My only other comment on this printer would be it's looks. For the price it should be a little more hi-tech looking than it is. The printer is pretty plain Jane looking and could use a makeover. It is a very simple cheap looking no frills printer.
Now the reason I am writing my first review. If you are using a printer that uses print cartridges to do general printing tasks you are wasting your money. I have used this printer to print out service manuals and user guides for used equipment I sell and it prints both sides and collates the pages. I have done about 800 pages so far and the ink tank levels have barely dropped. I would have been through over a $100 in cartridges by now. The only thing left to see is how long its service life will be.
I could not be more pleased with my investment in this printer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this a few months ago after being very frustrated with my old printer going to ink so fast. This printer is amazing! I have printed over 1000 pages since setting it up and have used very little ink so far. Love this printer!

Excellent and feature-rich, but slow and expensive

This printer is very slow if you want decent print quality. However, it can deliver excellent prints, especially on good photo paper. If you can tolerate its speed, it can make a great workhorse printer due to its great feature-set, large paper capacity, and huge ink capacity. This printer may be expensive, but you save on ink costs in the long run. If you don't have an option to buy paper in bulk, you'll likely pay more for paper than ink.

Print CD Labels for Church

Bought this for our Church CD Ministry. Only used about 1 hour per week, but works well and original supply of ink should work for several years and package included 2nd set of ink so might out last me.

I've only had this printer for about a month but so far, so good. The print quality is great and I like the idea that I can fill up the ink tanks instead of buying cartridges over and over.
