Frustrated!

I love the potential for this product, but I am extremely frustrated with some "issues". I have not determined the reason for it yet, but occasionally (several times a day), I try to print something and the printer's screen says it's already printing even when there is no previous job. I am not able to abort the action, even using the "cancel" button. The power will not turn off at this point, and I have to physically unplug the whole printer to reset it.
I use this for my small business and do not have time to do this every time I change printing jobs...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Totally Revolutionary Ink Printers

This was long overdue. no more low ink cartridges, no more unclean cartridge refilling, Less stress and more economic and convenient. I Love it.

I am very pleased with my recent purchase of an ET-4550 printer. Setup was easy and I am excited about the extended printing time the high capacity ink tank system promises to provide.

Seems to be a good one

Just set up my new printer. It was relatively easy and didn't take too long. The print quality is very good and I love that it holds so much ink. Also, I print business cards which are black and red. With my old printer, I was always running out of red in the color cartridge and would have to buy a whole new one just for more red! Now I can just buy more red ink! The only disappointing thing to me is that it doesn't have a single paper feed for printing. I print a lot of checks and envelopes scattered throughout the day and it will be a pain to have to load them into the cassette and change the paper type all of the time... I guess that is my tradeoff for saving on ink!
I called Epson support to see if I was just not seeing how to insert a single page. The first support person had to transfer me to the "Eco printer department". The support person there was very unfamiliar with the product and had to put me on hold to find out the answer. Neither of them spoke clear English, which always annoys me. They offer an option for Spanish, why not for Texan??

My experience with teh Epson ET4550

Other than a very small paper tray, the printer is excellent. Scanner is great, paper feed woorks all the time, the print quality is great and the double sided feature even works well. I just wish that Epson would come out with an add on paper tray holding a full ream of paper.
Outstanding printer. I would purchase it again in a heartbeat.

Easy Installation

Just purchased my ET-4550 on March 18, 2016; therefore, can't speak very much on performance or quality. I read many reviews before purchasing and I was able to install without a single problem. I also purchased vinyl gloves in advance so that I would have them on hand and not get ink on my fingers. My printer is for personal use and the color appears to be very good on the few copies I have printed out. If the ink supply stands up to its promise of lasting 2 years, I will be a very happy camper.

Troublesome ET-4550

For the price paid the paper tray should hold more paper. This printer stalls a lot requiring a power down an a power up. I love the ink capacity but this printer is far from perfect!
