Don't waste time to buy it

I have been waiting to use a very good Printer like this when you will not think of going to buy INKS everyday for years. Epson has shown us a true leadership in printing.
Any company who tries to challenge EPSON may be fake.

Poor quality

I was so hopeful when I read about the EcoTank printer as I was tired of having to replace printer ink so often on my previous Epson printers. However in this printer, Epson has cut corners on the quality of the printer. For example, the tray no longer automatically comes out and the top feeder creases the originals.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

ET-4550 is ok not great

I love all the features of this printer. I love the ease of operation. It was very easy to install. I had no problems filling the ink and I love the idea refillable tanks instead of cartridges. Using this printer is much more economical. Here is my complaint - the ink is not dark enough. I have to print in bold most of the time. The printing in bold is good for black but still isn't dark enough for color. Color printing is faded. Epson will have to improve their ink quality. My last Epson (Artisan) printed much better.

Dependable All In One Printer ET-4750
on November 6, 2017

The Epson Work force ET4750 is a very well designed, quality printer with copying, faxing and printing capabilities. Set up is fairly easy, the touch screen could be a little larger for people with vision problems. I love the eco tank ink idea which is very easy to fill, just follow the directions, put the correct colors in the corresponding ink places, it automatically stops when it is full and the gurgling noise stops. I love the idea that there is enough ink included for 2 years use and that the paper holder holds up to 250 sheets compared to other printers. The hardest thing for me was WIFI setup, it didn't set up from the enclosed software, I had to manually input the password from my router/modem, connect the printer then use the software to get it to set up correctly. Once setup the WIFI works flawlessly. Every test I did, everything worked well with no problems and good quality results.
The quick setup instructions are a little backwards to me, paper should have been installed before the ink went in so you could print the test for proper ink installation.. Fax set up was easy and worked well when tested. Paper installation is very easy and the paper catch “drawer” pulls out easily and doesn't stick like others I have used. The size of this model is just right and not overbearing on a side table where I put it. I expect to get many years of use from this model and to save money on ink as well. This model is perfect for home use or possibly even office use. It doesn't take up a lot of space, is easy to use and does a great job. And with the eco tank ink you aren't having to replace ink all the time and with the large paper load capacity no reloading paper all the time either.

A Quality Unit With a Great Feature Set
on November 9, 2017

I've had printers as long as computers, though the last few have been "All-in-ones". Why clutter your office/house with a scanner, a fax machine, and a printer, right? Let's start with this unit, the Epson ET-4750.
The 4750 is a fantastic printer...for what it is/trying to achieve: the home/small office market.
I had no issues out of the box, as the setup was easy and forthright. Print quality and speed were better than adequate, and I was a bit surprised considering this is not a “Photo” printer. So what do I like/dislike about the unit?
Pros:
- Each function (printing/scanning/faxing) of the unit is quick.
- Duplex printing
- ECOTank is a TERRIFIC replacement for standard ink cartridges.
- Refill tanks for ink are machined so you can’t refill the wrong color
- Ink tanks are displayed on the front of the unit to easily see where the levels are
Cons:
- Cost of unit is higher for the build/feature set compared to other brands.
- LCD screen is a bit smaller than I would like and that makes accidental button presses more common.
- No USB ports on the front of the unit.
- WiFi is only on 2.4 GHz wireless band, with no support for 5 GHz.
So, the real question: Would I recommend this product. The short answer is yes. A longer answer is still yes, though I would probably wait until the price point is lowered to match similarly spec’d units. The ECOTank is a nice touch and is a major selling point for this device. This is a review for the Epson WorkForce ET-4750 EcoTank All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

Epson came through again -- great small printer

This is a review for the Epson WorkForce ET-4750 EcoTank Wireless All-in-One Supertank Printer.
This printer is impressive. First of all, the ET-4750 is described an “All-in-One,” allowing for printing, scanning, copying, and faxing. I’m one of the dinosaurs still needing a traditional fax, and this unit works well. The 30-sheet auto-document feed is very nice if that kind of non-monitored feature is helpful. However, if not, and faxing is not a requirement, save yourself $100 and look at the ET-2750 for parallel features on everything else.
This printer set-up is accomplished via USB (cable not included) or wireless network connection.
First impression out of the box was that the printer is nicely compact. Total setup took about 75 minutes, from out of the box to production. The process was straight forward – no mess whatsoever on the color or black ink fill – nicely designed. You could skip some steps to shorten the software process, but I wanted full capability from the get-go, so downloaded and engaged everything.

Definitely read the “START HERE” guide for installation instructions first. Because of the unique ink system, this is a critical advisory in this case. Specifically, do not connect to the printer until all steps are completed for ink tank fill and charging (about 10m). Print alignment is next for vertical and horizontal optimization (another 5m). While the printer is going through its steps, and while still not yet connected, install the software by downloading from www.Epson.com, even if you have the CD, for the most current application. Even when using the CD for the download, it will recommend running a check for updates from the website, so save yourself a step and go directly to the website from the start.
Functionality, quality, as well as print, scan, copy, and faxing speeds are certainly respectable for a home or small business application. This is all definitely in line with and anticipated for a printer in this price range. The unit works very hard, but I would be willing to sacrifice some of the speed for a quieter machine. The automatic double-sided printing feature worked smoothly after designating the print job as such in print options. It saves paper; however, you will likely not want to use bargain paper to minimize bleed-through from the heavy ink coverage.
Ink is the big story on this line of printers, and it comes with a very generous supply. Epson claims a full set of tanks can last up to two years. Assuming the two-year estimate is correct, and based upon the current price of replacement ink [approx. $62—or $31 per year], this printer/ink combo seems like a bargain. So I’m willing to pay a bit more upfront and minimize ongoing concern about all of the replacement cartridges of other models or brands.
Viewing the ink levels from the front of the printer is a nice plus, but is a bit difficult due to the opaqueness of the ink tank themselves (good lighting will improve this visibility). There is also a utility within the printer that tells you exactly how much ink is left, along with other stats. The 2.4” LCD screen is interactive but too small and lacks contrast for easy readability. It does, however, allow you to preview your images on the screen and edit them before you print.
Note that this printer supports Google Cloud print, Apple AirPrint, as well as its own cloud printing service/mobile app called “Epson Connect.”
Overall, Epson did not disappoint here and I would recommend. I would have given it 5 stars except for the small LCD screen and the noise the printer generates.

This printer was extremely easy to set-up and to start using. The instructions are detailed and easy to follow. I was able to connect to my computer without any issues, and to start faxing, scanning, copying, and printing.
I love how detailed and sharp the printer is as well. There's no bleeding of the ink! And the ink, it comes with so much! I literally will not have to buy ink for years! That in itself is such a huge plus!
I highly recommend this printer - it's perfect for everyday and home business use. This is a review for the Epson WorkForce ET-4750 EcoTank All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

User Friendly for a Variety of Users

My environment is very fast paced when it comes to correspondence. From the frequency of incoming/outgoing documents and revising anything promptly, identification verification, notary-
the list goes on. We are on a fast paced time schedule at moments notice therefore, high volume printing and ease of access are always my top requirements when searching for a printer. An on hand scanning capability is also very necessary at times, more so than faxing. The 'All-in-One" features of this particular printer have exceeded my expectations far beyond what I anticipated.
Setup was pure bliss and I did not (and have not) encountered any type of difficulties since the first use. My absolute favorite feature, alongside the "Manual 2-Sided Printing" Function - would be Ink installation. Hands down, this was an exciting experience that did intimidate me at first, however this is a mess free, non-cartridge operation that reduces clutter and the stress of having to refill during the most unexpected moments. If only my paper supply could keep up with the Epson WorkForce ET-4750! The quality holds strong no matter how much ink is depleted. I love the versatility offered with this All-in-One. I am VERY satisfied, and I highly recommend investing in said printer for the long run.
