Compact, fast and ink forever

Have had this a month. Easy to set up but takes about an hour with filling ink tanks and topping off. Compact and fast, reasonably quiet. Enough ink to probably last many years and maybe for the life of the printer in small household. Already delighted not to have to think about buying ink for a long time - that is worth a lot of $$. Quality is good, but color a little weak as black come out dark grey when printed in color. Need to print Black and White if want really dark black on black and white documents.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I think it is a great printer

I am not a computer person and am having problems getting my new printer to connect with my mac. I called mac support and they said my mac is ok. I called Epson support and they were really great and spent lots of time having me do many code things and concluded my printer is ok. So I had the cable people to the house and they said my wifi is ok. But my printer is still not printing. So in a couple of days I have scheduled the Geek people to come out and do their magic. In the meantime I am telling all my friends about this great printer because it really is. The color copies that the sales guy printed in the store are amazing!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Waste of Money

Your ink will last forever because it takes forever to print. It prints 1 high quality copy for every ten to twenty my other printer prints. I am sorry I wasted my money on this machine.

This is my 2nd review for my 1 day old printer. I have found out that you cannot get quality or clear scan copies through WI-FI. Your printer must also be connected to your computer with a USB cord and you will get perfect scan copies.
Also, when I print through WI-FI only, the color is pale; however, when I print through the USB cord connection, the print is much sharper.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The set up has been a nightmare. Kept saying paper was empty, set up instructions not clear. Not user friendly. This is the most I have ever paid for the printer and didn't expect such an antiquated set up process.

Color photos on Premium Photo paper are dull, inaccurate and messy.
Too much yellow & red.

Manual Fax Mode does not work.

I don't really care that much about faxing, but the way that this product is designed with a phone pad on the front, it is clearly a fax machine.
In fact, when you set it up, you have to mess with fax settings. Then it sets itself up in Auto fax mode so that it accidentally answers your phone calls.
You can delve deeply in the menus and solve this problem by setting it to "Manual" fax mode. The problem with this mode is that there is no way to receive a fax in Manual mode. Though there is a whole fax keyboard, there is no "Answer" button. None of the buttons on the entire printer will cause it to answer a fax. I read the manual fully, and searched online, and there is no information anywhere about how to answer a fax in Manual mode.
So, your two choices seem to be Auto answer, or no answer at all.

Everything I had hoped for "except" ! ! !

Have been using the printer with a network connection on two work stations - both running Win-10 (64 bit) - one station has worked just fine however the other occasionally will simply not print when a job is sent - if the printer is unplugged (not restarted) and plugged back in, the latent print job will complete as requested - I have now uninstalled and reinstalled the driver package via internet with a direct USB connection hoping this will correct this occasional problem. This is reason for 3 stars - otherwise 5 stars and I could not be more pleased with this printer
