everything that I've come to expect from an Epson printer...

this is the second Epson eco-tank printer that I've used. And while I was happy with the earlier printer, this one is even better.
Epson always does a good job with packaging, so I expected the same and was not disappointed.
the first 'better' over my other Epson was that the setup was less time taking. I was all done in 10 minutes. And what I liked most was the ink-bottles and the refilling mechanism. No chances of possible spillovers, all you have to do is hold the bottle, and it will be the biggest chunk of your 10 minute setup :-). You would get 2 sets of ink bottles which should last long enough for the moderate user.
the general setup and hooking up the network were a piece of cake. I use the printer over wi-fi. And I print from all of my devices, notebook, tablet, smartphones. And I've come to like the Epson connect service a lot. You can fire prints remotely and the application would alert you with the status.
the touch-screen interface is intuitive enough. The touchscreen LCD is bright enough and the touch is very responsive.
I had issues with the paper getting jammed a few times. The screen would alert the user and detail the next steps.
The printer itself is compact so it won't take up a lot of space anywhere you decide to put it. It is stylish.

This is my first experience with Eco Tank Printer. Love at first sight ;).
The package is good. The printer is small, lightweight and compatible. Box comes with 8 ink bottle, power cable and quick start guide and Software cd (no Ethernet cable), If we need to set up via Ethernet you have to take your own).
Printer setup is very easy and quick start guide is also useful. No detail guide attached. Just follows the steps in the guide for the installation. I have completed the unpacking and installation in between 30 – 45 minutes.
Epson claims that the ink will last you up to 2 years, which is equal to 30 set of cartridge. The most exciting part is we can take the printout up to 14000-page black/ 11200 Page color. So it is less expensive compared to any other printer. Initial cost is high for this product but cartridge cost is low, at the same time on other printers initial cost is low but the cost of the cartridge is high. Filling the ink is very easy. Uncap the tank (blue), open the bottle and place it on tank upside down. Ink flows into the tank and stops automatically when ink filled to the upper line of the tank. Place the remaining ink aside. I was worried at the time of putting the ink into the printer and remove the bottle from the printer. Don’t worry, Ink will never spill out. Epson assembled the product very securely. The tanks that hold more ink than the normal cartridge and we can see the level of the ink. Close the tank and scanner unit. Turn on the printer. Then start setup. Follow the onscreen instruction. Ink charging takes about 10 min. After ink charging completes, we will get some space in tank to pour remainin ink from the bottle and fill the tank (Don’t waste ink ;) ).
Register and driver setup in the system was easy. I did not use CD, downloaded setup software from Epson site. Installed Epson iprint app on mobile. The dashboard of the app is very simple and user-friendly. After that, I connected printer with the Wi-Fi, systems, and phone, only need to be done once. Then load the paper. We can load 250 papers in paper tray at once. We can adjust paper tray based on the size of the paper.
Another interesting part is we can access print status sheet-like usage history sheet, Print counter, supply status sheet and configuration status sheet. Another one is print auto head cleaning and alignment.
The location of the touch screen is not good. (We have to bend all the times if we need to use touch screen ;)). If the touchscreen is in slanting position, then managing the touch screen will be easy. All other features like printing, copy, scan, fax, USB are working fine. No way to copy to save the document. we can save the scanned document, but we need to scan documents one by one. But if they enable the option to copy to save document then it will be time-saving for us. We can change the resolution of scans. It will save ink. USB slot is in back side of the printer, which feels uncomfortable. Recommended memory slots.
Print quality is outstanding. No fade or spots, ink dry very fastly after printout, No leakage, no smears or streaks. The speed of the print is also reasonable. Don’t compare with a laser printer in the case of photos, at the same time a normal color print is awesome. The printer operation is not very noisy. We do not have option to select two-side printing from touch screen, but we can select two-side printing from desktop print settings. Another interesting part is auto sleep.
I would highly recommend this product to everyone especially for private use, this is a great product. This is a review for the Epson WorkForce ET-4750 EcoTank All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

Fantastic printer!

Setting up this printer is super easy. It comes with detailed, step-by-step instructions that make it simple for even the most novice computer/printer user. You unpack it (making sure to remove all the tape that provided support during transport & shipping), fill the ink slots with the included ink bottles, plug it in, and follow the on screen instructions to align things and finish setting it all up. It comes with a set-up disc as well as the link to download the software if you computer doesn't have a disc drive. I also set mine up to make use of the wireless printing from my phone, which was super easy as well. The apps that Epson has out to go with the wireless printing are a fantastic thing, too. Nice, easy, simple.
Printing is easy, fast, and great quality. I printed many test documents, photos, etc. (wirelessly and through my phone for a good portion of them) and they all came out beautifully. There's almost no delay between sending the print command and actual printing.
The one thing I will mention is that when I went to open the top up to put the ink into the printer, I thought I was going to break it. Also, when sliding the paper slide guards over, I thought I might break those. It's obvious after you move things around for the first time that it isn't going to break, they aren't flimsy by any means. It's just strong. Well made. It feels almost as if you are forcing something to move that you shouldn't. But, rest assured, it's not going to break as long as you follow the included set-up directions.
My first thoughts when reading about the Epson WorkForce ET-4750 EcoTank All-in-One Printer were: (a) finally a printer that doesn't require a ton of waste from buying cartridges all the time, and (b) I wonder how messy filling the ink is going to be. The Epson WorkForce ET-4750 EcoTank All-in-One Printer comes with enough ink for "two years" and I don't doubt that statement for a minute. You'll use one set to set-up the printer and have another set for future use. I printed MANY things and barely touched the ink levels (which are very nicely displayed not only in the on screen display but also on the front of the printer itself. And it isn't messy at all! The bottles are very secure with a piece that fits onto the ink well before ink will flow and stops flowing when it is full.
All-in-all, this is a fantastic all-in-one printer with a lot of added benefits that is well worth the cost. I highly recommend it.

Great new option for Ink

I’ve been using the WorkForce XT4750 for a few weeks now. I am impressed with the high-speed prints of 15 pages black per minute but have also used it to print a lot of photos, 3x5 up to 8x10 and the colors are vibrant and lovely.
The printer came with everything you needed to set up including two sets of ink bottles. That should be enough to print up to 14,000 pages. Although a USB cable is not included, my laptop seemed to work flawlessly with the wireless connection. The easy to fill ink tanks are an improvement over the previous model where I was worried I was going to spill some. The fact that they uniquely keyed each ink tank makes is so easy that even my kids could fill it. The touchscreen is simple and easy to use and seems user friendly.
I love that the included ink replaces about 30 ink cartridges which saves the landfills, saves me money and is energy-star qualified. This is a review for the Epson WorkForce ET-4750 EcoTank All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

This printer is awesome! It's small and compact. Fit in any space, whether it's a home office or a business office.
Set was a breeze. It's wireless, no wires to connect to your router & no wires to connect to your computer. The initial setup takes like about 10mins and it also comes with 2 sets of watch color inks. It prints fast and clear. Beta tester review

Setup for the printer was easy. The setup guide included was self-explanatory and CD Rom was provided for the software. The software is also available on web if the machine has no CD port. The printer is good quality, and the inks for two years based on normal use are included. This is a nice professional printer. I have been using wireless print from any device at home.
Some of the improvements that would have been better for a printer/scanner at this price range are as follows. (i) Remote turn on and turn off feature. This is already connected to wireless – rather than keeping all the time on, a wireless mechanism to turn on and off. (2) Wireless security: Once you connect using home WiFi, anyone on the network can access the printer, and print. There could be an authentication built in, especially in small office environments where one may want the printer to work for only one group rather than all in the building. (3) Scan to email: The printer does not have an option of scanning to email. It uses HP cloud where the images can go, or to the attached computer. However, having an option of being able to send emails from the printer to your email id would be convenient. Also, in a small office setting, an option of saving a few email addresses would be convenient. Even though it is a high-quality printer with an EcoTank which is really cost-saving for the ink, one would expect more software functionalities at this price range. No more ink cartridges to buy!

I have been using this printer for the past couple of weeks as a replacement of an old Epson all-in-one which was on its last leg due to a lot of small business use over the past 2 years. In many ways it is a welcome replacement but it is not without some minor flaws/issues.
Build: The build quality is pretty nice and doesn’t feel like a cheap piece of junk like many low cost printers are today. Its footprint is smaller than my previous all-in-one but stands taller so it would fit better in most spaces. Not much more I can say about it…it is a printer so looks is not really a major selling point. The biggest flaw with the build is unfortunately the touch screen. In a day in which touch screens are everywhere and have become bigger, the decision to go with such a small screen was definitely a big miss. The size of the screen made certain things very difficult to do especially trying to type in information or dialing numbers when faxing. It made it near impossible if your fingers are bigger than that of a child.
Features: The biggest and best feature in my opinion is the ink tank. I can’t believe it took this long to come up with printers that don’t use tiny cartridges which need to be replaced so often if you do more than a few pages of printing a day. I guess it is because companies would rather make that inflated money that cartridges bring in. I really enjoy that there is enough ink in my printer for almost a year with a backup of another year of ink to replace that instead of having to order more ink every month. The other nice feature is the auto 2 page printing ability. It is very frustrating having to turn over the page each time you want to print double sided with some printers. This printer does it as easily as printing a one sided page.
Use: Print quality is pretty much in line with most new ink jets out there. I didn’t see any issues and the printing was very quick. Copying pages was a little on the slow side for some reason but the copies came out very nice. It also has a very large document feeder for scanning and copying and a nice large paper tray so you can print all day without needing to refill paper. Conclusion: Most people will see this printer as an expensive one but fail to realize that most of the inexpensive ones are just a vehicle for making money on ink cartridges. In most cases they provide a starter ink set which runs out in just a few weeks and then you are spending $50+ on new ink which if you are dealing with small business type printing, will start to rack up the cost within a few month. This printer comes with 2 years of ink and refills are a fraction of the cost. The printer itself is a very nice for small business or active family use and has delivered very satisfactory results. However there are a few issues which detract from rating this printer higher, such as the ridiculously small touchscreen and the show copy/scan speed.

It is a lot slower than my old printer and it prints from front to back so you have to reverse the pages
