Could be more user friendly

For the most part this seems to be a good printer; so far it is working out pretty well. I wish the ink was more clear and darker. When it prints, the result is a page that looks like it is running out of ink it is so light, but that just seems to be its default. I really like that replacing the ink is so much less expensive; I will have to see how it works out over time.
My primary complaint with this printer is that it is not very intuitive or user friendly. Even though I can usually work the keypad, it doesn't make much sense to me and I have to keep working from trial and error until I get it; and even then it doesn't make much sense.

I am a marketing professional, I was able to open the box and set-up the printer in less than an hour. I will come back and give a printing review once I use it for a while.

Exactly what I expected

I've found the very last printer system I will ever own! - Following the set-up sheet I was able to get up and running in less than half an hour. The initial set-up of ink requires about 20 minutes to perform - and there is so much ink! Thank you for finally producing a printer system like this one. Faxing, Copying, Printing, Scanning.. Wireless, Wired, or USB.. Smaller than many 'all in one' machines.. it has quite a nice foot-print. Feels like a very durable piece of equipment.
I'm very satisfied with my purchase and highly recommend it - did I mention the ink they send with the machine!.. Wow! -

dissapointing slow

The ECO tank may print 8000+ pages on a tank of ink. I have only printed a few about one hundred pages. It is disappointingly slow. It may take as much as a minute and a half to print one page. I don't know why it is so slow. Older Epson printers are much faster. It was very expensive.

NIce printer but had to return the first one

Liked the printer but had to return it because it left lines in dark areas of photo prints that could not be eliminated with printer alignment adjustments. Having just set up the 2nd printer, I am having the same issue. Very bad for a printer from Epson that is famous for photo realistic prints. I will be returning this to get our money back. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

Useless for business

The ink tank system is a great idea. It is why I bought the printer. However the paper input tray is way too small (only 150 sheets). What makes it worse is that the fax memory of "up to 100 pages" is like a joke from the 1980s. Really, 100 pages? Memory chips are practically free and no one at Epson thought maybe with only 150 sheets in the input tray that maybe the memory should be larger? Had I know about these issues would never have bought the printer. Would be fine for home use though.

Seems cheap as the machine bounces around while it is printing. Very slow when it prints. It's wireless function will not work.
