Not real impressed!

The printer sits too close to the desk top making it hard to reach the paper tray. I wish it had 2 paper trays like the other Epsons I have bought.
Not as fast as the previous models. Not sure I would buy it again.

This is the best printer I have had to chance to set-up and use that does everything that it was sold to do. It also is simple to use and setup. I have purchased two others since we put this one into service. We still haven't had to add ink, we have used it hard for 9 months.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Printer Is A Game Changer

I have owned and used many printers both for personal use and business. The Epson WorkForce ET-4550 Eco Tank Printer is my favorite of all time! The economy of printing is amazing and gone are the costly cartridges I had to buy all the time! The refills are long lasting and easy to do and very reasonably priced. If you are looking for a great printer and to escape from the cheap printer/high cost cartridges to feed it...go with this printer! I highly recommend it.

I really appreciate not having to always buy ink cartridges!!! I do miss some of the copy functions that I had on my old HP3300, such as enlarge and crop, which I used all the time. If the Epson incorporated these functions, it would be the absolutely ideas tool.

Money saver on ink

This printer has saved me on ink. I use the printer at home. I also use color printing for letters and cards. I would have to purchase the ink cartridges every other month. The color and black cartridges never lasted very long. I am purchased the printer about 4 months ago and I am still on the original ink that came with the printer. In fact, the bottles in reserve are still about half full.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Setup easy, though Epson may want to consider adding connectable refill feeder tubes for those of us that suffer from "tremor syndrome" as a way to reduce the spills and waste of ink. My personal suggestion would be to have those refill tubes hard installed on each ink tank, with a screw in connector that attaches to the ink bottle. This could also possibly prevent overfilling the reservoir with the benefit of returning the excess ink back to the refill bottle.
I do miss the Web to Print feature from years long gone, that feature has saved me many garbage printouts year after year.
Images printed are very good and print speed is pretty darn good with this model.

Great unit

Hooking up to network was a breeze. Unit is noisy more then other printers I 've had in the past. Setup is easy also. Print looks clean and sharp.

Great printer

Easy to set up. Great color prints. Connects easily with iPad, IPhone and other wifi devices. The best part is I don't have to constantly replace cartridges in the printer. I print 500 copies a week and it produces great copies each time. Easy to scan. A great home office printer. A little noisier than other printers I have owned. You need to create a paper tray to hold printed work for multiple copies as there isn't one with this unit. I expect the price will go down as it becomes more popular. A great product.
