It took a while to set up, but it works. I like the idea of refilling my printer instead of having to wait for a place to open to buy an expensive set of cartridges that run out of ink too fast.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Absolutely awful setup

Prints great bet the setup on a mac is abismal. the software is lousy and I still can't find the "print test page" function. Normally you would open the printer from system pref folder and usually there is an options button that has an option for print test page. Not with this convoluted glop though. I saw it once but can't figure out how to get back to it. Lame setup. Should be fixed. Other than that its a nice rig though a tad noisier than others.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Now I have to go into the manual and see if I can make it print well.
Then I have to do some more tests of photos, etc. If it can't print black, right out of the box, what other problems lay ahead?

Scanning and Feed tray are Uselss

This is NOT a business use printer. Using this just for individual printing is ok. Not great, not good, but fair. Put's ink on the page. Quality is not good at all, and it is VERY Slow.
The other components of the printer - Scanner and Feedscanner are USELESS!! It scanns about 1 page for 2 minutes so if you need to scan 10 pages you will wait quite a while.
Additionally, you need to install drivers and update the printer regularly. Why?
I would not recommend getting this printer. I will return mine.

I am very impressed with this Epson printer all the way from beginning to end. I was able to install this all by myself. self explanatory. it is everything I wanted and more.
