I bought this because it had all the features of my old printer without the hassle of ink going out of date before I used it all. I really like that you can refill the ink when needed and that it's suppose to last 2 years and isn't expensive to refill. I have to say that I can't give it an excellent rating for 3 reasons. 1. being that I have had problems using it on my computer hood up via a network wifi. I think I had problems because it's not the only computer connected. It printed just fine but when I tried to scan something it wouldn't connect even though it showed it connecting. It took 4 hours for me to work out the bugs and then I couldn't get it to print. I waited a couple of days and it seemed to have worked that problem out. 2. I haven't been able to figure out how to print from my iPad. I tried but I don't understand it yet, so that maybe strictly operator issue not the printer. 3. I wish it wouldn't continuously ask to check the ink levels which doesn't seem to be easily done. Over all for only owning it a month I don't know yet if the 2 year ink use is correct and haven't had the need to use the fax feature.

Good quality printing and scanning. A bit slow, but worth it considering the features and lack of cartridges. The visible ink supply is terrific. No wondering how much is left, and after a month, they are still nearly full. I bought another one for my second home.

Love the ECO Ink feature!

Printer was easy to set up and works well. Similar to other printers except for the ECO ink. I love not having to worry about the ink running out---and it's easy to see the ink levels. Other features seem to work well. Scanning software could probably benefit from an update but it works!

Overall a really good printer

Very economical to run - great to be free from the tyranny of constant cartridge changes. I just added ink for the first time (Purchased 11/16) - not a difficult process altho you do have to think it through and follow directions. Replacing paper is not as easy since it doesn't have a drawer and fills from the rear. I used to be able to just turn my chair and add some but now have to get up to put it in place - not a horrible downside, just inconvenient. Does well with photos. Best of all I can print on heavier paper with no problems AT ALL! I frequently do card stock items and without the rear feeder it had become a nightmare. Have had trouble with odd sizes of paper. One item would be helpful - if you don't use all the ink in a refill bottle, you can't see how much is left - a transparent strip on the wraparound label would be helpful. All in all, would choose this one again with no hesitation!

Worth Every Penny!!

I've had my printer for three years and I absolutely love it!!!! It prints beautiful pictures and documents. This printer has saved me a lot of money on ink alone. It's the perfect printer to have, especially if you are an educator that has to print lots of documents for your classroom!
