I'm slightly in shock at the quality and features of this freaking printer. And the price? wow
Honestly, my first printer was an ImageWriter I
worked great, I cannot remember a printer I have been excited about since then, but this one is magnificent.
Set up was easy
Printing from phone and ipad is cool
The thing is a copy, scan, fax and printer with endless ink,
really - can this be improved?

I got the et-4500 no more ink tanks awsome but
no place to put my sd card for fotos and I wish it had another feed tray so I could use thicker paper without damaging the one and only one I have, so I will only be using standard paper thicknesses I hope they come out with one with duel feed and I will drop this one for it .

This is my far the best home printer I have ever own, that being said it is also the most I have ever spent for a printer. But ink savings will more than pay for this printer in the long run. If I had anything bad to say about this printer it takes much to long to que from the computer to the printer. It is also not the fastest printer I have ever owned. All in in I love this printer and think it is the answer to high cost of ink.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I had print About 2,700 papers in 8 weeks and still
have black it 1/2 way I love it ink the ink last long
I spend lots money in HP PRINTER ink before and went I got the EPSON PRINTER ET-4500 I had not
buy any ink yet for this printer but I will soon
saved lots money ink now

Poor Color

I am an artist. I was lured to this printer because of the great savings on ink. I do not expect quality prints for sale or anything like that. I do expect the printer to match color with some kind of accuracy. The whites are yellow. The reds are brown. I am going to call. If this cannot be rectified, I am returning this printer. 2 years of ink may be too good to be true.

ET-4500 is very slow when printing photos

The ET-4500 produces high quality photos but it is extremely slow. There are no card slots. My unit kept reverting back to a paper size different from what we specified and was using.
We could not find a way to print borderless photos.
The large ink tanks are wonderful.
The setup program is in clear English until you get to the end where is switches to ECO jargon which was very confusing to me -- it does not say photo mode or photo print.
Most of the Epson ads never mention direct USB printing from a computer.

Great Idea... Not perfect

We recently got the ET-4500 and frankly it is like working with an old printer from the 90's that somehow has great ink technology. The ink part is great, but that's the only thing that's good about this printer. The buttons feel cheap and like they are going to break at any moment, the scanner and printer take a very long time to work. It makes lots of high pitched noises that has been causing migraines to some of the employees. It is very loud while printing and sounds like its going to break at any moment. We are waiting to for it to break so that we can get rid of it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have owned this printer for almost 3 weeks and just today may have conquered how to get it to print wirelessly. You should include an instruction manual with each printer especially for as much as these printers cost!!
