Set-Up Problems

I had difficulty with the wireless set-up instructions. I finally bought a USB cable and connecting was much easier.

Excellent Printer, but it has had connectivity issues

Excellent prints both photo and text, but have had repeated wireless connectivity issues and when the connection seems good, the printer performs slow.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Like the Remote Printing Ability

The XP-830 linked with the Google Play Store App for Androids is very convenient. I can print remotely via WiFi from my Living Room to the XP-830 in our Home Office.

Horrible copies

This All in One Printer worked so well initially, but lately so terrible!!! I don't know what to do other than toss it out. I am hoping that downloading new firmware the printing will be better. I have tried everything and this is my last effort.

Novice Installation

I am a "Computer Novice" to the highest degree. I have only used my 1 day old printer to print the test page and am very proud that I completed the installation by myself. The instruction sheet was very clear thru "---printer cartridge installation". THINGS TO DO - - (1) PLEASE install an Instruction 6A - - -"PUSH OK ON THE CONTROL PANEL SCREEN TO INITIATE INK CHARGING". Your instructions advise that it takes approx. 7 minutes to complete after closing the scanner unit. I, NOVICE, closed it and expected something to happen and 2 hours later nothing changed and no sounds were heard. I spent another 45 minutes going thru the screen menu to figure out what to do next. By random touching, I hit the "OK" and - - - it started and - - ended OK. - - - - - - (2) Tell your customers when to insert the CD into their computer and follow the instructions with patience. The CD cycled thru to 12%, and , I thought had stopped. Patience and it soon continued on to completion.

Product and Installation

I have not used an Epson printer in approximately 25 years or more. So far I have only installed this XP-630 Small-In-One Printer to my wireless network and tested it. I was very pleased with the effortless, easy setup that it provided. I do believe that I am going to have fun with my new printer. It will allow me to complete my 3 photo albums in record time. Thank you, Epson teams.
