So far things are coming up as designed. Still need to get wifi setup. Still need to install software on my PC that does not have a dvd.

Setup was not as easy as sales person told us. No list of items in the box, and some of the instructions were not clear. It took a while to set up and connect to printer.

owned a epson730 since 2008, loved it .... just quit working this morning..... knew I wanted another Epson..... the quality on the picture printing is unbeatable.
Hoping the 630 will last as long and give just a great of pictures.

Set-Up Instructions

The initial set-up instructions are terrible. First of all there is no information explaining the symbols on the touch screen, which is needed to do the set-up. How to remove, replace trays and load paper is vague and tells you to see the online user's guide. WHAT IF YOU DONT HAVE AN INTERNET connection?? The unit has a tray for a cd and the instructions tend to make one think that you use it to program the printer, especially since the instructions caution one to NOT connect to your computer yet. Very confusing. It took a phone call and an email from Epson to allow me to download from the internet. Also, if I want to print to or from a disc...which way does the disc load??? Instructions DO NOT SAY.

Pros: compact, easy to set up
Cons: loud, vibrates, configuration is poorly designed. Dealing with 3 trays and the display screen all on the front is a pain, everything has to be perfectly aligned to avoid an error message.

Very pleased with the printer. My first print set off the automatic tray opener. I instantly realized how old my other printer was. Very please with the print quality. I'm glad I made the purchase.
