Wish I had more help to set it up

This printer appears to have excellent quality, now that I have set it up, but it has taken me two and a half hours. Many of the steps assume that the person setting up knows where things are on the computer, or the instructions are not clear.
Previously, I have used Epson printers, and they are good. Please make the setup instructions clearer so it is not so hard for people who are not computer savvy.

More Than I Expected

Went from an older 1430 to the XP830. Was not sure how I would like it since the 1430 produced outstanding images. The XP830 is an all-in-one ... copy print, fax & scan. The set up was relatively easy. Reading the instructions makes it much easier. The only problem was setting up the scanner wireless. After many attempts, I finally gave in and called the help desk. They were very responsive and took the necessary time to help me set it up and then to make sure that I could scan both B&W and Color. Great product, great service.

Good as a basic printer.

As a basic printer it's good. Print and colors are good. To me it's new so I can't give a complete review but so far so good. If I were to buy again I believe I would upgrade to a more business friendly printer with a few more features. So far I can't
fault this on any level.

easy installation, great printer!

Installation was so easy! If a 60 yr old Granny can do this, anyone can. The printing is crisp and colors are excellent. I was not sure about the wireless connection but it connected without a hitch all by itself - I did not have to provide any info at all. Unit size is about 1/2 as big as my old printer and I love it!

Cartridges

This is a reconditioned machine meant to replace a new one that malfunctioned. The ink cartridges in the new one do not all show full. How can this be when I've printed nothing yet?

Versatility but at a price

The all in one does what it describes - prints (2 sided), scans and faxes. But it often has problems with adding print marks to the page or a scanned copy has lines going through it. It also eats ink at a ferocious pace. I am looking for another printer that keeps itself cleaner when printing so I don't go through so much ink.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I'd Do It Again

I'm impressed with the capabilities - especially for the price! Easy wireless setup on my home network - and I"m not particularly computer savy! Seems pretty intuitive to use for all functions. The front panel is very easy to use and the quality of the print for both print and pictures is much better than my previous from another company. Looking forward to years of good service.

Excellent Colors

The colors in the photos are unbelievably true. I copied a photo that I had printed elsewhere, and the photo that came from my printer was much better and the colors were vivid. Also, I can print from my I phone perfectly. I recommend this printer and I think anyone that buys it will be happy that they bought it.
