slow photo print

I was looking for a replacement for my artisan printer. Locally no one carried artisan printers. This is a very slow printer. Only 3 color cartridges, and 2 black. Colors seem to be warm compared to photos on screen. One cartridge is photo black. Two sided printing is VERY slow takes a long time for printer preparation. I liked my artisan much better.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Works for Me

I bought this printer because of its size, as well as because it prints, copies and scans, and it is wireless. While traveling, I needed a printer that would fit into the limited space in our car. So far, all three functions have worked well. I haven't had this long enough for ink to expire; but, if it works like our 6-year-old Epson printer, I don't like the way that printer simply stops printing when one of the ink cartridges reaches a certain low point. My other non-Epson printer allowed me to continue printing until I decide it needed to be changed, which was usually many pages past the point when it indicated low ink. Otherwise, I like this Epson printer, and I would recommend it for others who want a smaller all-in-one machine. This is my first printer that prints automatically on both sides of the paper, and I love that feature!

Epsom printer

Takes too many steps to print a photo or a document...have to load the paper, then describe it to the printer if you change from photo to document etc. Quality of phots and documents are good.

Small footprint important

I didn't have much space available on my desk so I was looking for something small yet something that could do it all. The XP-830 fit the bill nicely. I have had it about three months and I am very happy with it.

Easy setup and excellent performance

I have been using the Epson XP-630 for over a month and it has performed as advertised. Printer setup was super simple and was working within 30 minutes. Color printing is excellent and so is the text printing. I use USB wire connection and no problem here.

Great for the price

Best printer so far for the money. I like taking photos and printing them. I guess the only downside is that the specs says you can get a few hundreds printed but the ink does go faster than what I was expecting, but like I said for the money I like everything it does.
Also would have preferred a cable that will connect to the PC but the wi-fi is ok at my office.
On the positive side the printer is always updating the software which I like. Overall is a great printer.

Good Choice

Easy set-up, the print, scan and copy functions all work well. I needed a printer that would handle cardstock and the rear-feed feature seems to work great for that. Color print quality is excellent. Works with my MacBook OS 10.6.8 which is an improvement over my previous printer.
