The setup process is amazingly straightforward

The auto wifi setup that Epson has designed worked without me having to enter the wifi password. I was connected in less than a minute with no issues encountered. I have never had so easy a time connecting a device to my wireless network. I do have one clarification for the setup instructions that came with the printer. After installing the ink cartridges it is necessary to press the start button on the home panel (the instructions do not indicate doing so, but the display panel does imply doing so).

Just installed the printer and it seems to be working well. However better instillation instructions are needed. Instructions are confusing and the illustrations are not very good. It would also be nice to have a printed comprehensive instruction manual. I havn`t been able to find the online manual yet.

Very easy to use and user friendly in every way from connecting with all my wireless devices and printing images from my cell phone.
Scanner takes some getting used to and time to set up - but works well once you do

This printer is flawless. Never jams and loads 5x7 paper and prints perfectly. Still running on starter ink 3 months later. Has fax machine too. I always run 2 printers. I have an xp-950 too but no fax on the xp-950. Both print identical. I load letter size and 4x6 in one and 5x7 and letter size in the xp-830. Very happy ! Great job Epson.

The Epson Premium XP-830 printer is by far the best printer I have ever owned. The speed and print quality is amazing and the wireless connection is suprisingly quick as well. Unlike other printers from other manufacturer I have owned, I would have to uninstall their software and reinstall just so the computer would see it half the time over my wireless network. With this printer all I have to do is turn it on and within a few seconds, it is ready to print wirelessly! It also prints effortlessly from my iPhone. I am really very pleased with my decision to purchase this printer. Watching the panel mechinism open and the tray extend on it's own is pretty cool to watch as well.

It has great quality for both pictures and printing. Once it starts to work, it prints fast. There is a lag from the time you tell it to print to the time it actually starts printing.
