Epson XP 830

For the most part, this is an excellent piece of equipment. The only complaint is the scanner speed - extremely slow, takes forever. I purchased this all-in-one to handle faxing since my other all-in-one does not include that feature. The printing and faxing features of this machine are great. I'm glad I still have my older printer (different brand) for scanning!

Nice printer XP-830

I previously had the Epson XP 800, which had been highly rated by Consumer Reports. When the printer head died on that model after three years, I knew I wanted to have another that hopefully was improved upon. I've only had this a couple of months but so far it is doing an excellent job. I print a color masthead and it is beautiful. One big difference is I could manually pull up the control panel on the XP – 800 but this one you don't do that. You just allow the power button to automatically bring up the control panel and push out the output paper tray. Otherwise, these two models are very similar. I just hope the printer head lasts longer than the last Epson.

Great Printer

I've had this printer about 4 months now, and it's been performing flawlessly. I'm connected to a VOIP for my phone, and can send and receive faxes. Only the initial black cartridge that comes with the printer needed to be replaced a little bit ago, as I try to avoid color printing. The printer is quite, and the screen makes doing things intuitive.
I would recommend this to a friend!

About all it DOESN'T DO is make "Julien "Fries!
It's the first Duplex printer I have owned ,and it does that flawlessly.
It shepherds you through all it's features so you can't botch a job.
I really enjoy the front feed and vend configuration.

The printer is user friendly. Actually the commands assist the user. Print quality on paper or CD is very good. The paper feed doesn't get jammed, at least so far. The low ink warning is wonderful and it gives you the option of using the most filled black ink cartridge when one of the two black ink cartridges run low. The option of closing up the machine when you turn it off is wonderful. I actually want to buy another one because it would help facitiate my home business productivity. I would rate it a 9 out of 10 as far as a well made, user friendly product.
