My previous printer was an Epson Artisan 710 which quit doing the 2 sided printing and I needed a new machine and the only printer available was the XP-830 and because I print a lot of CD's each week this was the choice

Much to commend it

A full function, compact all-in-one printer with many desirable features to commend it, incl good color rendition of photos. I've only had it for two days now, but the price is right, it fits nicely on my desk, and performance has been perfect (light home use) so far. Setup was pretty straight-forward and not difficult. It's too early to give an unqualified recommendation.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I got this printer for Christmas. I have to tell you it was so easy to set up wirelessly and I am very pleased with it. The quality is amazing and the design is sleek and cool! Look forward to using this item for many home uses.

Mac install simple - so far so good!

I had everything unpacked and running within 30 minutes. I have an iMac and it recognized the Epson and installed the drivers for it automatically. I didn't need to download anything or use the CD. I haven't tried the wifi part so I don't know if this is working. It's not something I need so it may go unused.

Fantastic and Easy to Set-up

Setup was easy and worked like a charm. Connected to an iMac - simple and fast - also easy.
Connected USB direct to iMac and also on wireless to print direct from iPhones
So simple
Picture quality - excellent
Noise level - quiet

Just bought this printer last night, set up was easy and smooth. The last Epson printer lasted me 8 yrs, problem free, I'm hoping this one will be just as dependable. I will let you know.

Epson 630 Out of Box Experience

The printer was easy to setup and overall it works good. Photo printing works great and easy to accomplish with respect to color matching. However, color matching is nearly impossible to establish for non-photo paper, card stock for example. Had I known this, I would not have considered this printer. It took way too much time to find a configuration for color matching to card stock, and the settings I settled on are marginally satisfactory.
I agree with Epson's self-assessment of superior photo quality printing, so this in itself makes it the right choice if you regularly print photos, which my family does. If photo printing is primary for you, this printer will serve you well.

The XP-830

I would like to tell people how easy this printer is to setup and get started. This is the second XP-830 that I have purchased in the last 30 days. We have two homes and not wanting to transport the printer from one to the other it only made sense to have the same one in both places. I would tell anyone to buy this printer not only for the ease of setup, also the quality and beauty of the pictures and the print! Thanks Epson for a great product!
